I have some more photo's from the work I did at th workshop.

More work on my Grandad's truck: Hand made sills I beat and then folded the edges with the A.P Malone and then bent with the stretcher shrinker.

And the hand made floor I made on the english wheel, the firewall I made and the engine cover which I beat out with just an anvil hammer and oxy welder.

I plan to have the cab off next week, underneath done, sand blasted and then I can do the finish of the exhaust, brake and fuel lines and then prep and paint.

Then theres the 59' Impala Station Wagon. This is a complete fucking shit box. On other cars theres One panel on the tail gate, for this theres about 6. And its like that all over the car. 6 panels where 1 will do. Then when you get below its rusted to the shit house.

These are the rear guards I beat. I did from the weld down which was tricky because it needed a tuck at the bottom almost like a sump belly.

And finally theres the '70 El Camino. Its a shitty looker bcause I haven't done the body work properly yet. I'll finish that, lay done some paint and some pinstriping.

The real beauty is under the hood. A worked Chevy Rat I did at Wollongong B&L supplies. A 306 Chevy Small Block, Di-grinder Bored Piston chambers, Big Block Cam and Heads and hand polished/re-chromed rocker covers. Twin Turbo'd and Its hooked up to the dyno at the moment and registeredaround 1200hp before dyagnostic and sould get at least 1500 when they're done.

That bitch is destined for the track.

I have a shitload more done now. I have more or less my own shed to work in now with "My" Truck, and all the other shit I have to finish which is now a 69 Rally Sport Camaro, a faggy Austin Healy for some pompus faggot arse rich fag and some piece of shit Corvette.

I've finished the Cab, painted it the colour my grandad specified and fitted the doors, which were a prick to seal becausethe door rubbers had to be 2 different sizes because of how I chopped the roof.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v712/Doesy/07-06-06_1549.jpg

I painted the inside and mounted the Dash. The Steering wheel is actually off a 57 Bel-Air and the column is from a 73 LX Torana because the truck was chaneled and the rack had to be heaps shorter.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v712/Doesy/07-06-06_1548.jpg

Mounted it back on the chassis and put the engine on. Its just a chevy straight 6 but I've re-finished the blocks and completley re-gasketted it.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v712/Doesy/12-06-06_1023.jpg

And I installed a Hot-Dog exhaust which I made from a portable oxy/acet tanker.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v712/Doesy/12-06-06_1028.jpg

Here's the Camaro, which I really like. It used to have the Orange with White finish but I re-painted it and put a new engine in.

This is the Corvette which I keep procrastinating on because it's in such shit house shape.

And the Austin Healy which I hate. The owner has changed his mind so many times that this is more or less hand made. I hate him.

That bitch is destined for the track.

Two things, first:

1500 hp is hella sexy and its cool that you did it all by urself, gratz

Second:

Destined for the track? Sorry if im a little scepticle, but i dont think a 1500 hp El Camino has any bussiness anywhere but a drag strip.

Jesus

Yeah Track/Dragstrip same thing.

It ran an 11.3 then a 10.1 and then the engine blew up and There was a massive fire. The window shattered all over the drivers face and he burnt his hands through the gloves trying to get out.

Still a 10.1 naturally aspirated is pretty damn good.

wow, thats a 1 second improvment on the quarter, but i guess thats attributed to figuring out how much throttle to give it, all that power makes traction kinda hard. Sucks about the fire though, hope no one was seriously hurt, and yea, 10.1 seconds is fucking aweasome, F/I or not.

It didn't have fuel Injection, just twin turbo.

It didn't have fuel Injection, just twin turbo.

Oh, i ment forced induction not fuel injection since you said its natrually aspirated

Jesus

We always said Naturally aspirated was when you didn't use a Supercharger or any Nitrous/Methane. But I see how Turbo Charging isn't really natural aspiration.
