Here is the Full PR

Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH will use 2006's E3 Expo in Los Angeles to show its eagerly-awaited Pro Evolution Soccer 6 title for the first time. It will mark the first time the series has been revealed at the US event, and is testament to the global appeal of the series.

Held at the Los Angeles Convention Centre from May 10th-12th, E3 is regarded as the year's most important gaming event. Pro Evolution Soccer 6 will be one of several key releases on the Konami stand (South Hall, Stand #800), and is certain to be one of the lead attractions of the 2006 show. Once again the work of series creator Shingo 'Seabass' Takatsuka, Pro Evolution Soccer 6 slips past rival titles with ease with an impressive roster of new moves, licensed clubs, and gameplay modes.

"It is fitting that the world's leading video game show will this year feature the introduction of the leading football title," said Martin Schneider, European PR and Marketing Director for Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH. "The show will offer fans of the series an early glimpse of what will be a landmark title, and whet their appetites as we gear up for what will be a key release for Konami."

New product details regarding Pro Evolution Soccer 6's many new additions will be announced at the show, and the game's Producer and creator Shingo 'Seabass' Takatsuka will also be on hand to celebrate the unveiling the new version. "This marks my first trip to E3 and I am greatly looking forward to this chance to expand the game's amazing popularity to a wider, global level," he explained.

I hope they are going to show the next-gen version and not the current ones... even though I suspect the later. :(

I think it has already been announced that PES6 is for PS2, an if I remember correctly there have also been some screens and scans in the net.

Hardly any news about PES6 came out on the net although we did get quite a few Winning Eleven news (Jap version of PES)

Concerning the current-gen/next-gen questions- As far as I know, it is current-gen although Konami might bring a spiced up next-gen version once PS3 hits the market.

Yeah, WE10 was out today(in time for the world cup and to compete with the fifa cup game). I dont really remember any major changes from any WE to PES game, so take the changelog of WE10 to also be the changelog for PES6.

I've actually played it. Lik-sang sent there pre orders out early and it got to my [rich] friend yesterday. I played it and there are many subtle changes.. Referees are more leniant, the game is more fast paced (though feels like the players are slower) and also its smoother
Graphically, the game hasn't changed much.
It brings new licenses (international) but no club teams (Arsenal and Chelsea remain the only to liscened premiership teams, which i doubt will change for PES6)

Yep. Fully translated.

I'm lovin the game and if it wasn't for the stutter-whistle bug it'd be one of the best in the series.

The famous producer of the series Pro Evolution Soccer, Shingo ' Seabass' Takatsuka, which should soon introduce Pro Evolution Soccer 6 at the time of E3 2006 in Los Angeles, confirms once again in the English magazine PSW which its play will also unload on PlayStation 3. He thus declares ' the aspect of the play on line will change radically.

Shingo 'Seabass' Takatsuka : 'The online aspect will change drastically. From reading forums we realise that the game lags a lot, but this will be much, much better on PlayStation 3. Also, offline you'll have fantastic player movements that you'll probably only notice through replays. Of course, PlayStation 3 will give us more power to enrich the actual representation of football, such as artificial intelligence, so you'll have much smarter defenders. We'll be able to put much more emphasis on the offside battle between defenders and attackers because PlayStation 3 gives us more power.'

Just the other day I was thinking "Man, this game really needs more exciting Offside battles."

Ohh so Henry can stop running offside every time i get the ball.
IT doesnt say which game it is.
Its called Winning Eleven outside of Europe. It releases in Japan first because it was made there. Half a year later it comes out in Europe as Pro Evolution Soccer and then some time later it comes out in america as Winning Eleven. If they called it soccer, less people would buy it!

Raitei, you explain things so minimally lol.
Referees are more leniant
Yes sure but in alot of cases you can get away with murder. I found it gives the computer an excuse to foul me on the edge of the box.

and also its smoother, The players don't stop! If you get tackled, your player doesn't do that stupid thing where he stands still! He keeps goin to get the ball back. And all the players around him don't stand around it like idiots, they start running to get the ball. In many cases you can lose the ball and have it picked up immediatly by another player.

shooting is just hard

The thing i hate most about pro evo is the huge slow down when taking a goal kick or a free kick which is why i got pro evo 5 on the PC -> No slow down!!! + HD resolution.

Hopefully Winning Eleven 10 will be skipped and Pro Evo 6 will be Winning Eleven 7. Theres not point in having a ps2 football game for a year when PS3 is out and Fifa will just take market because the time the PS3 is out is about the time they release their new game.

Hey there,

Overall, the pace has been increased a little and the game shifted from defensive-minded to attack-minded.

I guess it depends on your preference whether you like that or not. Works for me, as the games seem a lot more like EPL now.

The biggest improvement are the new animations. There's tons of new stuff. The game is so fluid like you can't even image. A lot more freedom.

The refs have been totally improved. They whistle for tackles not for BS. The only downside is there's lots of cards shown.

New longball system has been improved and it's the best ever, second only to ISS 64. The balls fly in the direction you want them rather than at a player. The long passes and crosses are much more flat. Can be accurate depending on how good you are.

The only downside is the keepers. They deflect a lot more now which is a good thing but they can't catch even the simplest balls and often times deflect them into their own net.

There's a little stuttering when the ball crosses the end line. Similar to that in PES3 demo/beta ages ago so someone of upu may know what's up. It gets a little more intense as the game goes probably having to do with processing data. On the other hand there is no slowdown when the ball is on the field at all. I guess there must be a trade off.
