Right now the only one I listen to on a regular basis is LugRadio (http://lugradio.org). It's a bunch of guys that talk about Linux/opensource stuff. And their British, so they have funny accents.

Aside from the excellent Penny Arcade podcasts, I really the podcast for another comic.
You may have heard me mention them before.
A Lesson Is Learned But The Damage Is Irreversible (http://www.alessonislearned.com)
The podcast is on this page here:
http://www.alessonislearned.com/freebies.html

I really like the Silhouette Sines song, 'Getting Over Women', and especially the other music in it.
Someone on their forums said that the music (not that song) sounded kinda like a Jon Brion score (soundtracker to such films as 'Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind', I Heart Huckabees' and 'Punch Drunk Love',) and I agree, and then I really got into Jon Brion music for a while.
Now I'm going to get those soundtracks eventually.

if you have an mp3 player or an ipod I strongly suggest listening to podcasts and uploading them to your player. Listen to them on the go.

That Ricky Gervais Podcast has had me in tears so many times, really, it's not a good idea to listen to them while you're on the bus.

Yeah, it's not so much him that's funny, it's his mate Karl.

You may not get the British humor at first, but give it a few listens and you'll be in stitches.

isnt it a video podcast?

Fats
05-01-2006, 01:49 AM
Well, it first started off as 12 episodes but then it became very, very popular. So they started a second series, which you have to pay for. They also do the odd video podcast as well. You might have difficulty getting the first series, do you use Soulseek at all? If you use/download Soulseek I could send you the whole 1st series.

Yea and i'm not saying you are this way, but vegans i know try to shove it down your throat.

Back on topic: I don't know what other podcasts (free ones) to subscribe too, any suggestions? Are there any that like review movies or something? when i browse them they give me a bunch and i just dont know.

Also i think NNow or just E-mpire should do a Pod cast.

I'm a very reserved person. I don't bother anyone. Live your life the way you see fit. I only suggest you don't surrender your faith to another man's beleifs and that you know that wrong-doing, manipulation (tampering) and evil has been present on earth for as long as our known history reaches back. Therefore, unbeknownst to us, it's likely that we have all inherited some of our ancestors self-important ways and habits. Human kind has always gotten certain "ideas" and decided they were/are right in the seeming absence of GOD.

So what I am doing is starting fresh without the influence of other beings who are just as lost as I am (in various ways one can be lost).

I have never once tried to really convince someone to be vegan. It's not my message to deliver. It would be for a reason you have to realize for yourself that you would take that stand in your life.

My reasons have everything to do with my new outlook on the world and life itself....i.e. I agree with GOD. I let him show me my way and then I take it. I won't follow another man's written word with my life and faith. I don't have a religion.

But no, I love my family no less for not being vegan (I've never even met another vegan or vegetarian). We all have our own lives to live with our own unique opportunities to pay prescious attention to the details every second along the way but I only hope that most of us are following GOD rather than each other.

Apologies for going off-topic.
