I can think of 3 right now.
Budweiser - The Chemical Brothers - Galvanize
Wells Fargo - RJD2 - Ghost Writer
some beer commercial with the your girlfriend song
I mean seriously, none of those songs should be used in commercials where the soul of the song isn't being portrayed correctly.
except the last song, that shouldn't exist in the first place.
Any other commercials with bad choices of music in them that anyone else has seen?

One of my first RJD2 experiences.
To add to that list, I will say:
So many car commercials - Blur - Song 2
I listened to that song by itself a while back, and it sounded like even the recorded Damon Albarn was sick of the song.

I think thats a Becks commercial. I hate it too. That commercial pisses me off becuase it makes no sense and the song sucks too begin with. It's like saying "Don't buy our beer, we are complete dumbfucks".

Does anyone remember the Diet Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper commercial with the guy and girl out on the date and she imagines everyone singing that annoying song? REALLY bad choice for a song.

Twas Toyota Avensis :) Still a pretty good advert.
The halifax adverts are like.... why, why must you piss off the entire country.
The best i remeber was the Nike advert on the ship, and Elvis remix - A Little less conversation. playing. And hell, it had Eric Cantona = Dude!

The new Ford commercials, with their hook "Ride it like a Ford" set to shitty mexi-rap beats and spastic close ups of people's crotches. I don't see who would think this would be a bad idea.

I'm not sure what you mean by version, I'm guessing you mean that there's been a few different versions? But it was Summer Breeze by The Isley Brothers for the Saab 9-3 Convertible advert.
