Jim Ross Back On RAW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jim Ross will be the lead announcer for the Backlash PPV tonight in Lexington, Kentucky. Ross will be replacing Joey Styles tonight due to WWE making an internal decision for Ross to return to the announce table as the lead announcer for Monday Night RAW.

This decision will either go into effect starting tomorrow after the Backlash PPV or in a few weeks. While this decision might be a blow to Styles, he is expected to play a strong role in the new ECW brand. We will continue to follow this situation as it develops.

I am really happy about this, because I don't think Joey ever cut it. Jim Ross announces every move, every chop, and every kick. Thats something that Joey never did.

Styles owns Ross in calling the action. Jim Ross is just good for comical humor by all the goofy things he says. I'd rather have Styles work on the ECW brand than WWE and their goofy storylines.

I think Vince basically told him; "We're setting up WWE vs. ECW. Go shoot an Anti-WWE promo." I've read that Styles wrote what he said, and the writers loved it. I loved it to, the 3 best things on this past RAW were Styles' promo, Foley's promo and the HHH/HBK staredown. It really speaks volumes about WWE when my favourite parts are all non wrestling segments.

Anyway, what Styles said is exactly the way I feel about WWE and I have been for months.

Joey is really good at what he does. The problems are exactly what he said on Raw. He has a different sytle of annoucing. I liked his style of doing a good play by play. JR is good for the storylines. Why did they take him off in the first place. It was what we were all thinking and he said it. It was a great moment. Can't wait for the ECW brand. Hopefully WWE will keep its control on it and let Paul Heyman run it. WWE can get the money of course, but let ECW be ECW not WWE. I don't want a WWE version of ECW.
