Well, I just scored a developer interview with Simon Benson, producer for Evolution Studios. I played Motorstorm for a bit while he described the basics, then once I finished the race we went into a little Q&A for the game. I'll have video posted for you all to see tonight. The game is FUN! The physics are awesome, graphics are good, though they are said to improve as the game is only 50% complete, and all in all it is a fun experience. You will be impressed.

The show ends @ 5, give me 4 hours tops to get it online for ya. I have a LOT of PS3 videos to capture, encode, and upload tonight, but that will be one of the first. That 4 hour estimate is just me being conservative and giving myself a lot of room for error. I'd expect to see it sooner. For those of you overseas, sorry for the wait, but I have a LOT to do tonight.

Frosty, did you happen to ask him directly if they intend on reaching their target graphics (what they released last E3) by the time the game launches? To me, this is the most important question anyone could ask them.

Is this game fun is the most important question.
Crap in 1080p is still crap.

Holy crap, I just saw the little clip of it (the failed upload, finally got my bittorrent working). It looks AMAZING! Much better than the photos.
WOOHOO! Can't wait for the full length vid. Not sure why I'm so stoked for this game, other than it looks fun as hell.

Being negative and objective is absolutly fine but if you're going to do so then try and be a bit more civil. Some of your posts are getting a bit annoying and redundant.
As for frosty, awesome work man... can't wait to see what the crew has done!

I will perhaps concede there is the chance that the images and videos posted so far are of such low resolution that is the reason the game looks so much worse than what we saw last year. Does anyone have a link (not a torrent) to the full resolution video from this year (and not just a cam taking an image of the thing running on a screen)?

Thanks a bunch frosty and to all the E-mpire people doing this stuff.
P.S.
Next time you tell us a time, could you tell us which time zone you're talking in? lol! I'm not sure if I need to wait til 12 pm ET or not haha.

Frosty I already interviewed him, just so you know - and at like 10am! :smoke:
Sure it's not in 1080p, but I get the relevent details. ;)
We'll see who wins on content!

LOL, this was just an improv on the spot interview for the DVD when I stumbled across him on the show floor. Your written interview will be nice I'm sure, I didn't want to take too much of his time because there was a line behind me. So, this is more of a walkthrough explaining the game's features and a short Q&A session at the end. So, all of you, go to XBD's article for the juicy details. :)
BTW, the video is uploading as I write this. I will be posting a link in a few.

LOL, well my interview was also impromptu so I don't want to give the wrong idea here. ;)
All the key points I already incorporated into the article.
In fact after you finish uploading let me know and I'll link to it in the article as well jst for the sake of having it there - sort of a nice one-two punch of Simon Benson.

Just watched it... looks like alot of fun! I hope they can increase some of the visual quality and clean it up a but as it does look a little dated. The game itself though looks awesome and I want to play it SO bad now.
Oh yea, Grats on first! Nice comeback.

Wow, thanks Frosty--awesome vid and interview. Half way done. My God, looks incredible already.

Actually, aside from slightly low res background textures and some aliasing, it's pretty damn spot on with the E3 trailer last year!!!! You can tell the poly counts and all are the same.

Wow Frosty thanks, Motorstorm looks pretty damn good, Cant wait to see some more footage of games:clapping:
Great going there Frosty and thanks! Good interview. Lots of good tidbits of information from the developer. The game looks great already and it's only going to get better by the time that it's released.

No, I didn't think to ask that. Sorry, this was an on the spot improv interview, I stumbled across the guy on the show floor and had to come up with the questions as I was playing the game. There was zero time to prepare any questions.
