Correct me if I am wrong, but they only showed a non-playable trailer right?

If so, why are we so convinced this is the real McCoy? (albeit if it is, it rocks)

They've only shown a CG video trailer of Assassins Creed, but the trailor looks fantastic.

Its going to be everything that Thief should have been.

No, us (the public) have only seen a trailer, some at E3 got to see it being played by the devs behind closed doors and then got to play the game themselves.

I don't think you guys should take that exclusive claim seriously. Time exclusive yea maybe. All of Ubisoft's games are multiplatform so far. So I'm not really counting on this one to stay exclusive as reported by Next-gen.biz

PS: I certainly hope it does stay exclusive just for the record.

I hope that it's exclusive as well, if it is the case, the number of exclusive titles coming to the PS3 is inceasing quite a lot! :)

its exclusives like this that will drive the PS3 into first place come 3rd quarter next year. i no longer care about the two machine set up because after seeing that motorstorm demo (still in production) i can't see why folks are still complaining about it not meeting the CG footage standards! Assasins Creed is without doubt one of the best looking titles at E3 (apart from Afrika).
