After seeing this I truly believe Tekken's target video may be achievable.

Okay. Now Namco Bandai has no excuse.
If THQ is putting out that kind of visual level, they need to pony up. I hope they've caught wind of that footage. I don't think the tekken teaser last year was even a target though, in their defense. I honestly just think it was a teaser to say, 'it exists.'

I saw this trailer before E3 but not in such good quality. This vid is a little dark though. But i don't know..after seeing the actual game footage, i couldn't tell you if this is representative of the actual gameplay or not because this looks much better than the in-game gameplay videos. Maybe its just that the skin isn't super shiny, but if it ends up looking like that in the final game...i'll be satisfied.

Finally, someone noticed!

I was wondering when someone would realize a wrestling game looks better than Tekken.

The new Tekken on PS3 looks like Tekken 5.000001

It looks so good because it's a target render ;)

May 4, 2006 - Though THQ hasn't yet confirmed yet whether or not WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2007 will be playable at the 2006 Electronic Entertainment Expo, it has revealed the official "target render" trailer that will run during the show. Totaling more than 90 seconds in length, the high-quality production video shows a heated battle between Kurt Angle and John Cena.

Yeah, it looks good, but the charas still move like shit. They still appear floaty, robotic and from what the vids online show, the collision detection is still dirt poor. Just like the last game, only a tad bit smoother due to the hardware.

This is a cash cow franchise in every sense of the word.
Me thinks that it makes a great coaster.

i think the E306 video of tekken 6 is all about getting expectations down a little because namco in every time gave a large jump for every newgen launch title but this time they actually didnt show any thing but the hype is so high and i think we well be surprised with tha last results on TGS.

Is tekken a launch title supposedly?

Well the thing is that target render looks totally attainable compared to what we've seen up and running for real. It's great but it's not blowing my mind as 'NO WAY'.

It's great but it's not blowing my mind as 'NO WAY'.But the actual game is pretty far from that target render. I think its possible too..but the actual game videos released so far aren't as impressive as this target render.
