Hmm yeah, SUCKS!

Arsenal were the much better team imo and deserved it. But Barcelona can turn anything around in a matter of seconds, and they did just that today.

The best team lost.

Could've been a whole lot different if Lehmann hadn't been sent off. In my opinion, the goal should've stood and Lehmann should've stayed on. But hey, bit late for that now.

Ug, waited until 4:45am for this match to start didn't get to sleep until 7:45am in the morning, having a half day at work today just about to head in.

Thank god I'm not a huge arsenal fan or I would have been pissed off!

I support Man Utd but I am so pissed that Barca won. They nowhere near deserved to win it.

I feel kinda sorry for Henry, it was meant to be his night.

^ Henry should of been substituted..there was no way he was 100% percent fit he even admitted at the end he was tired. Wenger had two fit strikers with pace on the bench i dont understand why he didnt use any of them until it was too late. The ref was dumb, the red card shouldnt of been a red the easier option would of been to play on allow barca's goal and if anything book the keeper as it was a foul but barca would of been happy witht he advantage, But saying that 1-0 down to barca im not sure if arsenal would of done it. Im not an arsenal fan but i wanted them to win because there an english team and i also had a fiver on them winning (which iv now lost), It was suppsoed to be the henry vs ronaldinho show...both of which done nothing spectacular in the game. Arsenal started well and henry should of by his standards scored the chance he had after on two minutes...But should of's and could of dont change the result.

Imo, barcelona are the best team in europe and deserved to win, they went the whole tournament unbeaten..and that takes some doing, also both barca's goals were defensive or keeper mistakes you could see the in-experience the keeper had especially at europeran level....

Oh well...We have world cup heartbreak to deal with next :)

^Yea but Arsenal had a blemished clean sheet record for what?...Since September in the Champions League, thats a huge feat considering they've played teams like Juve and Real Madrid.

Meh, stupid ref:

'Referee regrets Lehmann red card' - http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/europe/4993994.stm

Like you said Kay B :

"I would have liked to have taken a few more seconds before I made a decision," Hauge told a Norwegian newspaper.

"If I'd done that, I could have given a goal and given a yellow card as well."

And yea, at least we got the World Cup to deail with.

^ By saying that he is simply buckling under the pressure he is has and is going to recieve from players/fans/journalists, but the thing is he could well of sent him off im not sayig he couldnt of...He had a choice to make the better decision would of been to give the goal. end of the day eto was professionally fouled and the ref blew before guily scored, so he'd already given the free-kick...once he'd done that he had no option but to red card lehmann.

As for arsenals defensive record it was good yea, but if you look at how the teams they played have performed....Madrid, Were crap in both legs and barely attacked, same as juve really. Only team that really pushed arsenal were villareal, who were the better team in the semi final imo.

Well, Henry is staying and said he was very happy with the heart the Arsenal showed on the night.

I on the other hand am a more assholeish Arsenal fan and was dissapointed with the way 'we' played.
After we were 2-1 down and less than 10minutes were left, we had the ball and no-one chraged forward!! We were still in the 4-4-1 formation!! I was very pissed off with that and to put the icing on the cake, WE GAVE AWAY POSESSION STRAIGHT AWAY and never really fought to get it back. So i dunno what everyone is on about when they say "Arsenal fought hard." I am very happy about us defending hard but there is no way that I can honestly say we fought for this match.

I was very very dissapointed with Henry's early miss (great save) and his latter when he could have made it 2-0 to us. That was a very very stupid shot, he [henry] always does that! tries to calmly tap it in and in the premiership, that cost us many goals-- he should have learnt that just smacking it on target is a better option than trying to look classy.

anyway, great chivement for the club and i hope we go another step forward next season while keeping a more respectable Premiership record.

GO ON ARSENAL!

Neither team deserved it really. Both teams didnt play that well.
Arsenal just didnt flow like they used to. Henry creates the flow, he just wasnt 100%, cos arsenal are amazing to watch when they flow.
Barca, well Ronaldino just wasnt on form really, he should have put a few goals away if he was on form.

Would have prefered arsenal to win because they are a english club but, ah well.

On song...arsenal are the best team to watch imo, when they are playing there best football they play one-touch passing so well and 90% of the time a goal comes from it. But if they are to ever challenge for the title again they are going to need to play this football but also learn to play ugly and win.

I mean, take liverpool for instance...or even chelsea, they dont always play the preetiest football but they get results when it matters...and this is one thing arsenal need to learn to do
