I beat Jecht in 3 hits. I beat Yu Yevon with Tidus' Slice and Dice Overdrive in one hit. Six 99,999 HP hits anyone?

Uhh no. It doesnt feel very interactive when theres hardly any fighting and a cutscense every 5 minutes.

There are lots of battles in fact after lots of the cut scenes you enter battles. I showed this game to a friend once and he got annoyed because we were constantly going into battles.

Yes, the GC version is much better but i was pointing out RPGs with massive amounts of battles and teh DC version had nearly twice the battle encounter rate as did the GC, it was too damn many battles.

i loved FFX. final fantasy games always have the coolest stories and what's better than watching it being drawn out? there are a lot of cinema scenes, but that's what draws me into the game. there's tons of gameplay and fighting, so i dunno what y'all are bitching about. if you wanna repetitive fighting game, go play TMNT
