Umm thread title says Warhawk but the video was some Fatal Inertia gameplay?
Right :)
Video quality was once again such that you can't lot about anything about the graphics besides it isn't very nexgen :P. And I personally want a lot more gameplay speed for Fatal Inertia, it would be about the only thing besides the supposed physics that would make it any special in the futuristic racing game genre.
PS3 WipeOut FTW.

I've noticed there's some delay between the tilt and the onscreen movement.
NOT GOOD!

it seems that everyone said it was really good. you can stop inches from the water, fly through narrow spaces with control. i dont think it will be a problem.
plus its a flight game theres always a tad delay between telling it what to do and seeing it done.

NOT GOOD! are you talking about moving the controls and a few tenths later it actualy moves?
cause in reality that how it works with airplanes/RL physics, alot of things happen
you move the yoke/flight stick this changes the angle of your control surface the contol surface pushes the air. it has to push the same amount of air in mass of the aircraft (newtons laws) just to start a rotaton of the aircraft so the A.O.A. (angle of attack. this is in referance to the wings cord line not combat) so that the whole surface of the wing can push the aircraft in a new direction. your V-factor (the direction your actualy going) vs the cord line is never the same unless your pitch and yaw is unchanging.
this naturaly causes a slugish responce much like how a rallie car has to start rotating a car on dirt before the corner in order to navigate the turn.
its not a simple point and go its alot like drifting a car.

hahaha, ohh jaxmkii... pwned
what he said, plus, the designers have to calibrate the game just right because if it's too motion sensitive then your controls are f***ed.

The tilt controls seems to work very well, it seems rather easy. ~_~

Not bad vid.
Everyone is up-talking the water effcts even in thsi vid he says "lets check out the great water effects" or something but I find it less than impressive. It might tbe the low-res is but when he gets close, the wings should form a 'stream-line' instead of the "big blobs" that seems to happen and when he dipped his wing in te water, the water physics weren't even effected, the wing just "went through" into the water :nono:
So by great graphics do they mean just how it looks? That shouldn't be good enough.

I noticed that too. kind of a let down.
guess there are still some things that the next gen won't iron out magically. If there's one thing I really want to see is when airborn high speed objects flie over water, and the water wakes realistically/believably.

Come on, this is only a build, and they have 165 days, 18 hours, 35 min and 20 seconds to finalize it. I don't think that water physics will be a priority right now, since most of the levels weren't even completed.

I totally agree with you, but just like any other game we've seen up to this point, they are not finished. Also, check out Fatal Inertia. ;)

Any driving games going to use the tilt then? I think it should be an option for all driving games on PS3!

A lot of game swill probably utilize both, the analogue and the tilt, at the same time.

I always use controller as a steering wheel in GT4 anyway, so I'd have years of experience if they chose to do it. My friends always laughed at me, since the controller of course didn't work as a steering wheel. But now I'll have my revenge!!!!:guns: BWAHAHAHAHA!!!!:tardbang:
