It's a pretty freakin' fun game!
I really do like the style and the gameplay is nice and smooth and exciting though the interactive environments are REALLY lacking as you progress.
You can tell devs got lazy.
It just doesn't end though and the story is "lolz" level bad but hey it's John WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO and the action is there.
Hopefully I'll complete this before it goes back (it was a rent).
EDIT: Aww, couldn't complete it and now it went back.
What a long fucking game, you think it ends in that bit and then another bit comes up.

Tons and tons of Motorstorm. This game kicks ass. It is fast and vicious, just how I like it. It kind of feels like an off road version of that old school game Road Rash. But it desperately needs some new music though. I am just going to turn off the music soon. I would even pay for a new songs pack. Around $4.99 for 20+ new songs would rock.

Just when you think the Playstation 1 is dead or doesn't have anything left for you to try out and play...
Fear Effect and Fear Effect 2 - Double Helix
Let's just say... ummm... in a quick fashion...
*Resident Evil kind of gameplay except much faster, kind of in your face explosive action
http://xs123.xs.to/xs123/08052/fe546.jpg.xs.jpg (http://xs.to/xs.php?h=xs123&d=08052&f=fe546.jpg)
*Gun play is very technical in RE fashion but suprisingly fun
http://xs123.xs.to/xs123/08052/fe2273.jpg.xs.jpg (http://xs.to/xs.php?h=xs123&d=08052&f=fe2273.jpg)
**A main character so sexy that it makes Lara Croft look like a donkey's bum
http://xs123.xs.to/xs123/08052/fe3468.jpg.xs.jpg (http://xs.to/xs.php?h=xs123&d=08052&f=fe3468.jpg)
*The main character's sidekick is also equally as hot, maybe even more so if that's what you like
http://xs123.xs.to/xs123/08052/fe4201.jpg.xs.jpg (http://xs.to/xs.php?h=xs123&d=08052&f=fe4201.jpg)
**The characters even walk sexy, at all times, Hana, the main character even crouches sexy, seriously
http://xs123.xs.to/xs123/08052/fe5574.jpg.xs.jpg (http://xs.to/xs.php?h=xs123&d=08052&f=fe5574.jpg)
*The game is not all about the main characters being unbelievably sexy, it's actually paced very well and is full of action and the game is beautiful graphics wise
http://xs123.xs.to/xs123/08052/fe6435.jpg.xs.jpg (http://xs.to/xs.php?h=xs123&d=08052&f=fe6435.jpg)
***FMV backgrounds... at all times.... imagine if Final Fantasy had FMV backgrounds all the time on the PS1... the game looks good with cel shaded characters on top, I mean good, graphically has aged unbelievably well
http://xs123.xs.to/xs123/08052/fe7539.jpg.xs.jpg (http://xs.to/xs.php?h=xs123&d=08052&f=fe7539.jpg)
***And last but certainly not least... NO LOADING TIMES, I kid you not. You think only 'next gen' has the capacity for that stuff? No way in hell, it can still be done and it always could've been done, this game feels more next gen (yet nostalgic at the same time) than 90% of the shovelware crap next gen stuff gaming is shoving down people's throat's right now.
Resident Evil had loading all the freaking time, this is the same type of game.. with no such loading time. Ever. Ever except to start the game.
->In summary, this is a Playstation fans wet dream!
http://xs123.xs.to/xs123/08052/fe8641.jpg.xs.jpg (http://xs.to/xs.php?h=xs123&d=08052&f=fe8641.jpg)
You know when people say Eidos used to be big, like industry leader big, at the forefront publically in gaming big? When you play this and remember this is the age that Tomb Raider exploded onto the scene and they were publishing the PC version of FF VII and VIII, you know why.
Hana is so much hotter in Fear Effect 2. Blue tight suit. Holding Dual Pistols. Walking unbelievably sexy. Too good...
http://img265.imageshack.us/img265/3573/fear2zx8.jpg
Just as a side note, I put other things about the game other than looking sexy as why this game is awesome... trust me, there's so much more than just looking sexy, but looking sexy is a great thing on it's own as well.
If you even think of calling yourself a Playstation fan and you don't play these games, I will kick you ass. Play these game or I will kick your ass.
Playstation 1 is not just the best. It's the best by such a great degree it's so ***king wrong and so ***king awesome.
P.S. Hana and her blonde friend Rain are lesbians.

Ya, that's right, now you want to play. Or at least that's what is in the media, I'm not far into either game.
These games are HAWT. That's all I got to say.
It seems that the games I play don't really change much from my recent posts.
Mass Effect - I restarted my Insanity file using my level 55 Vanguard. He's currently at level 58, and I'm rolling through with Wrex and Tali. I'm not too far into the story. I'm too busy with side-quests.
Undertow - Played it, beat it, and I was trying to do co-op on Ultra, but my connection kept cutting out on me. Turns out that my modem was trying to light my apartment on fire. Good thing I figured that out, eh?

Rock Band - I was trying to do Band World Tour on my own, but I'm not exactly the best at doing vocals at higher difficulties. I'm going to have to go through vocals on Hard. I also have to get around to doing drums on Medium.
Mass Effect - I've been playing this game so much that I'm honestly becoming sick of it. I am pretty damn close to beating it on Insanity, but I still have to play through it again for two friggin' achievements.

Best dork post ever.
It's the only post that makes lots of sense in more than one way.
I'm currently playing Ratchet and Clank: Tool of Destruction which is awesome and I'm nearly done, it just takes me ages to get through because I try to do every extra thing.
I'm also playing Unreal Tournament 3 which is awesome as well but finding a game sometimes can be tough (not a lot of players, not just on PS3, on PC as well apparently and I have been lagged out from let's say.....45% of the games I've joined).
Modding on this game is freakin' excellent, no different than PC.
I got shit loads of maps, optimised weapons, low gravity etc.
Warning though- Sometimes the mods fail to load and the game crashes but that's okay when you re-start it asks if you wanna disable them and you say 'YES' and you are on your way (enable them again easily).
Really does feel like good old Unreal so if you liked any of the Tourney games, get this.

Project Gotham Racing 4 (singleplayer only)
After finishing up Burnout Paradise a while back, I needed to move on to something else while waiting for Super Smash Bros. Brawl to get here, so I decided to dig through my older, unplayed games (I have many).
Among the games I got for Christmas was BioShock, which my wife got for me used from Game Crazy. I rented it when it first came out but declined buying it because a week later I was going to move on to Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. Figuring that I could go back and play it to completion, I went to open the box to find... no disc inside. They didn't put the disc in the box, and now it's been a few months since she bought it.
So I saw Project Gotham Racing 3 laying around and popped it in instead. After playing it for a while, I considered picking up either Forza Motorsport 2 or PGR4. On the one hand, Forza 2 had hundreds of cars and much more realistic physics and stuff than the racing games I normally play, and I respect it for all that. However, after playing demos of both games, I went with PGR4 because the big thing that killed Forza 2 for me was that I had absolutely no fun with the actual racing.
The cars in Forza 2 sure looked pretty, but there wasn't much else to look at. PGR4 beat it on interesting racing environments, a much better sense of speed, night/day and weather, and was a lot more fun for me to actually race (though it still has those damned cone challenges and the like that don't thrill me that much). So yeah, PGR4 has far fewer vehicles and leans much farther towards the arcade end of the racing spectrum than Forza 2, but I'm enjoying it a lot more.
(In case of accusations that I didn't enjoy Forza 2 because I suck.... I'll have you know I did practice a bit and got to winning pretty consistently, thank you.)
BioShock: I'm getting prepped to play through the game on Hard, without dying. And grabbing all of the audio diaries (because I fucking missed one I couldn't go back in get on my first time through). I'm also going to play the game for my girlfriend. She likes the game, but won't play it (lighting hurts her eyes, she dislikes FPS games, and is easily frightened).
Double Dragon: Just getting what achievements I can. I'm aiming for beating the game without continuing, which I almost got without even trying. Elbow Smash is king.
Undertow: 6000+ kills down, Less than 4000 to go.
Marvel: Ultimate Alliance: Playing through the game to help a friend out. His game file sucks, though.
I've also got the urge to play Oblivion again. I just need my copy back from my girlfriend.

Right now I'm finishing up my first play-through of Ghost Recon: AW 2 on Guarded Risk level. The game is awesome, and now makes me want to pick up the original. But then again I'm a sucker for Tom Clancy games.
I've finished Call of Duty 4 on the 2nd highest difficulty and don't think I want to kill myself over the final difficulty level, but I'm still getting a lot out of the multilayer.
Other than, of course, its excellent multiplayer, Halo 3 has been on hold because I kind of want to finish Halo and then go through Halo 2 for the sake of the story. I'm also waiting for the next map pack to be released so I can get that one and the previous one (which will be free).
In Lost Planet, I am on the 8th of 11 missions and should finish it before next week. I played the demo and figured it would be worth the $20 at Circuit City last week.
Orange Box will be on hold until I complete a few more games...as I want to go through HL 2 again before trying Ep. 1 and 2.

Best point and click adventure/ investigation/ puzzle game everrrrrrrr.
I absolutely LOVE this game, can't stop playing it, played for 4 hours straight last night last morning, whatever- Best gaming experience I had in a looong while.
Reminds me of the good old days of depth and substance in games yet delivered so nice and simple.
One of the devs was heavily involved in forum activity and after sparring with the person over the crappy patching (which got solved), I showered them with praise after playing with the patch for a good few hours:
I know you are in the dev team LMac and I just wanted to congratulate you and your team for creating a great game.
I would be grateful if you can pass on my message.
I love the immersion in the game, I find myself listening to each character and being interested whilst in other adventure games I have my finger hovering over the "skip" button lol
The world you have created is excellent.
Like a surreal alternative that we all have in our heads but in reality it's all a bit creepy, though this game is not THAT gritty, there are few tidbits here and there that I pick up that makes the world a bit dark in disguise and although I am not THAT far into the game yet, I already drew a conclusion in my head (let's see how close I get ).
I also love the linear yet non-linear approach to the game.
The diary is excellent and I'm never lost on what to do because well I can basically do what I want to do but it's great that the game makes sure you don't chase a dead end while it lets you chase the story any way you want.
It's hard to explain what I'm trying to say but it's nice to do something one way and not worry "???? maybe the game wanted me to do it another way."
So thanks a lot to everyone at Momentum Digital Media and I am hoping your next game is along the lines of this one.
And don't worry about graphics and voice acting etc that other people bash on you for, just make sure this much care and attention goes into your next game, whatever that might be.
I am giving this game a very high 8/10 though I haven't completed it yet.
I'm guessing this number will only go higher.
If you like good story/ immersion and character development with great detail and enjoy point and click games, it doesn't get better than this.
The only bad thing is sometimes I already figured something out but the dialogue takes a while to get there but you can't blame the game since they have to make sure everyone is clear.
Highly recommended (obviously).

I finished the main quest and all of the guild quests in Fable: Lost Chapters, and now I'm just trying to find the last few hidden keys and armor and whatnot.
There wasn't as much added content as I was hoping there would be, it was mainly one new story chapter, a few new areas (my favorite was the brothel) and weapons. I never really used magic the first time I played the game, so I made sure to do it this time and the combat ended up completely different.
I've been wanting to replay Chronicles of Riddick for a while now, so that's probably next.

God Of War II
A bit late to the party but I needed the break after God Of War 1 cut my life expectancy in half.
I am....Not enjoying this as much as I did God Of War1.
I don't know if it's because "there is not much new" or because "it's not challenging enough" but something isn't AS epic as God Of War 1.
Don't get me wrong, things are still pretty hectic and epic but unlike God Of War1, when I solve a puzzle or kill a boss I don't get the "FUCK! FINALLY!" satisfaction I did in God Of War1 since this one is a bit too easy (except one puzzle which wasn't a puzzle but a way to reach bonus chests).
I should have started on Hard but God Of War1 was challenging enough on Medium so I didn't expect this.
Let's see how it progresses, I am 5 hours in.

So I remember I said I would get the Wyrmhero blade in FF XII..... I did get to play FF XII for a long time on Saturday or Sunday or whichever day it was which was very nice.
Ya that ***t ain't happening. I totally had a whole day to just waste my life for into this game, used it all up...
I didn't get one badge of the three to get the blade. I completed every hunt I hadn't before though and I can fight Yiazmat and Omega and whatever and I can do the fishing... but I'm nowhere in the fishing and now I don't have time to kill the guy with 8.5 million hp and 1 million hp.
I killed the Hell Wyrm which is like Yiazmat Lite Version. Supposedly it takes 2 hours to 5 hours but I managed to kill in in about 45, 50 minutes which was nice.
0/3 badges going into day. 0/3 badges coming out. I win!
Yiazmat, Fishing game, Omega MKII, and FF XII, I will see you in a few months again. Hopefully to inch my way closer to this stupidly awesome weapon.
masteratt - that is crazy coincidence! I totally got a used copy of GoW1 on the weekend! And it's actually amazing... wow. I didn't realise it was that good.
I played that a lot also when I realised I had no chance of getting much closer to the damn Wyrmhero blade in FF XII if I only had that one day to play.
I got pretty frigging far. And holy ***t why the ***k is it so ***king hard! I'm playing normal mode and getting my ass handed to me!!!! I can't beat the stupid giant hog thing with armour. Seriously, wtf.
What! THE! ***K! So hard.... Normal mode for god's sake! NORMAL! THIS IS NOT NORMAL!
And holy ***t does it give you that feeling of epicness and total resolution after completing a place. That part where you have to sacrifice that soldier in the cage was soooooooo retarded. The enemies keep spawning and spawning and spawning... half of this game is god damn luck... lol, at least for me.
And once I was fighting 5 or 6 god damn Cerberi (lol) at one time! WTF! The next time I started that area I had to fight 4 and only 1 or 2 at a time! Stupid frigging dog things.
Anyway I'm stuck in that game. It's too hard. I'm am pwned.

Condemned 2: Bloodshot
I wasn't sure what game to buy next. I went to Wal-Mart yesterday evening with the intent of buying either Condemned 2 or Viking, and even when I got there I stood helplessly undecided, sure that I'd buy one and then later think I should have went with the other. I ended up just renting Condemned 2. I normally don't rent, but I just couldn't decide on which to buy.
Well, I enjoyed the original Condemned, so I figured I'd like the sequel, and I do. However, I kinda figured it would be shorter than Viking, but I haven't stumbled upon any figures for roughly what kind of play time I'd be looking at with either. I've also read a lot of mixed stuff about Viking, some making me wary about picking it up and others sounding like it might be right up my alley.
Halo 3 - Some matchmaking, some Forge, some Custom Games.
Pokemon Diamond - Deleted my old file and started over. Maybe I'll actually beat it.

Rainbow Six Vegas (PC) - my friend recommended it and after trying it on his PC i decided to buy it and am going through it now.
FEAR (PC) - i can't resist playing games that have the potential to freak me out. the little bitch in this does so well enough.
No More Heroes (Wii) - aside from the fact that the PAL version has had the blood removed, this game is a whole lot of fun wrapped in a stylish weirdness.
Pokemon Snap (VC) - probably one of my favourite games on N64 so i couldnt resist when saw it available on VC. i only downloaded it now because my Wii's wireless is screwy and i only recently got a USB ethernet adapter.
Super Metroid (VC) - again couldnt resist when i saw it on the shopping channel. is an amazing game.
Pokemon Diamond (DS) - i deleted my old file. i already finished the story and going through it all again is more fun than just levelling up pokemon.

Assasin's Creed (PS3, rent)
I really don't give a shit about this game, I'm just passing the time until GTA4 comes out.
This is seriously the most 5/10 game I ever played though.
Does nothing frustratingly wrong, does nothing amazing and when you overlook some game design decisions that make you laugh (i.e: simply sit down on a bench to avoid guard detection...WTF?! haha), it's an alright game to waste time with.
Pretty short though, I'm on Memory Block 6 (final one I think) and I only benn playing for maybe 5 hours or so.
Anyway, perfect renting title.
I'll give it....Well, 5/10 since it's so perfect.
Nothing fits the 5/10 rating better than this.
Seriously they should have called this Assasin's 5 out of 10 rating.

I've seen the screens that came out two or so days ago... fantastic! I felt the graphics dropped a mile in quality since 2005, but looking at the new screens really turned my head for the visuals again. Pristinely smooth and clean cut graphics, just the way I like 'em :)
I may start a new game in Grand Theft Auto IV, but in the way Grand Theft Auto IV seems a lot longer and also has much more impact with all it's major scenes and advances of the story... I may wait a while before starting a new game. Right now I think I will look at starting a new game as tedious. It would probably be better if I space out the time between me finishing the game and starting a new file from scratch on it.

Playing... Ratchet and Clank - Size Matters PS2
Say kids, what do you get if you take a PSP game and put it on PS2? I'll tell you what you get... An uuuuugly PS2 game.
Well that's not quite fair. It's basically half a Ratchet game that feels like it hasn't been through the Insomniac quality control. The frame rate is less than rock solid, the story is limp, even for a kids game, the graphics aren't top notch at all, the weapons don't feel totally satisfying and generally top notch, in short, it's under play tested, it's the runt of the ratchet litter.
Has come nice bits though, robot wars challenges, dream sequences. Not bad.
Much less impressive a PS2 to PSP(and back again) translation than God of War COO though.

Blooby hard as nails Pandemonium. Getting through it slowly though.
Playing Wonder Dog, obscure Core design platformer for Sega Mega CD. On a real Sega Mega CD, natch. At the time I thought this game was awesome as hell and impossible on Genesis. We oooed and awwwed over it's red book audio, layer apon layer of parallax scrolling, full screen cartoon intro and enhanced colour palette, and kidded ourselves the 300 quid we spent on Mega CD was money well spent.
Truth was, it was slighty crap, way too easy you see. Has it's moments though, like the monty python style very easy bosses.

Right. Stopped playing Pandemonium. Had a lot of fun playing old PS1 platformers last year, hoping to do the same this year. Pandemonium is not a fun platformer. It is crap.
You always get shot from off the screen, or jump on a bumper and multiple bounce into an acid pool or a hundred other cheap ways to get killed, and I'm sick of it.
Been feeing pretty sickly recently and I thought, what if I died, went to hell, and I had to play the last game I played over and over again for eternity.

Started Blue Dragon. 5 hours in.
I can see why it didn't do well. It's a basic as hell by the numbers jRPG, almost no invention in it's battle system. Story and theme is pretty uncompelling Saturday morning TV stuff. Gamespot gave it 6.0/10, that's harsh but I can see why.
Dragon Quest 8, the game this is a copy of, had a simple battle system too, but also a rich heritage in jRPGs, gripping story abawt that 'orse princess guv, awesome character and monster designs and the rest. So it gets away with it.
Definitely doesn't compare to all these young hip jRPGs where people shoot themselves in the head with spirit guns etc.
But I'll finish it. LO is much better I'm told.

Yup, some nob on another forum convinced me it was a masterpiece. Bloody awful. To cap it off I found out the packaging was so bad the last disk was all scratched up! In the old PS1 days multidisk games where nicely packaged, not all on the same spindle. Bah! Humbug.
In the mood for a shooter, any shooter, only one I have around is Turok. It's OK I suppose. It's old fashioned as hell but all dressed up. So you have a sniper rifle but they don't call it a sniper rifle, it's a bow. The dinos run right at you and there's little QT events. One annoying thing it does is the Psi Ops thing I hate of guys spawning right behind you. Annoying. You can do tricks like set dinos on your enemies with a flare.
The theme is all very Predator like, which is no bad thing. It'll do. About 100 times better than bloody Haze. Not bad at all.

Turning Point Fall of Liberty - PS3
Hey kids, do you like Resistance Fall of Man?
"Yeah!"
How would like like Resistance V0.5?
"Hmm...."
Exactly what it is. I paid $20 for it, you shouldn't pay more. It has Unreal 3.0 used badly, you know where everything looks like plastic. Has the same "Alternative WW2 reality" thing that Resistance has, only not as cool. Very standard shooter, but for $20, why not.
Haze - PS3
I want to like Haze as I know where they're coming from. "Let's make the anti-Halo". So you know how in Halo you're all buddy buddy with your team mates and you're saving mankind. Your cause is just. Real war is rarely like that. Haze is the anti Halo. Your buddies are jerks. Total jerks pumped up on pills and propaganda. You're on the wrong side, committing war crimes on civilians, and you know how Halo is really good? Haze is kinda bad.
Free Radical have been thrown out of their cushy PS2 world and into the big bad world of next gen and are floundering, badly. They're having real trouble with basic stuff like LOD, multitexturing, and a bunch of other next gen essentials. Back on PS2 with Timesplitters they got away with an early engine because there was no competition, on PS2 with Resistance and the Unreal games it's not something they can get away with.
I've played through about half the game, and it has it's moments. Just no $60 moments. Worth $30 tops which i what I paid for it. I'll play it through but it's not terribly good. You won't believe this is running on the same machine as Resistance 2 and Killzone 2.
Turning Point Fall of Liberty is probably the better game, although Haze tries harder with a custom engine, gameplay elements and all. Turning Point is just more fun.

Turning Point: Fall Of Liberty
The only thing I've liked about this is how it reminded me of the shitty PS2 budget games devs made and it has that charm and it was good to see that on PS3 (a game where it wasn't all OMG LOOK AT OUR SHADOW GFXX!), it was just a good old boring generic mid-budget shooter.
Other than that charm though, it's totally boring, and kinda frustrating at places (especially near the end!).
Still, a good rent for £3 it certainly was.

Bioshock PS3. About 90% through it, I'd like it to end quite soon. It's kind of turned into a fetch quest now. I'm getting lots of plasmids but the new ones aren't really as useful as the old ones.
It's good, don't get me wrong, but not as good as I'd thought it would be. Call of Duty 4 is a much better game. I think the story has lost me a bit, just isn't doing it for me.
Although I am doing the fun game of walking around the streets of Auckland and spotting old ladies who would fit right into Rapture. Half the old biddies who phone New Zealand late night talk shows would.

Playing Bourne Conspiracy and Metal Gear Solid 4. Interesting opposites of game design. Metal Gear is "Just screw around with the tin can, Metal Gear Mark II, and the rest and get through the level your way". This is excellent as it begs you to replay the game on a harder difficulty and play the game better. Mostly I seem to be bungling my way through the levels.
Bourne is the exact opposite, it's: "There is one way to play this, we'll make you do it again and again until you get it right".
Former is better, but they're both good games. Bourne is good at keeping the pace fast to keep the game fun.

Valkyrie Chronicles
It's the freshest, cleverest game I've played on PS3 (and I've played MGS4).
The story presentation and the characters are awesome.
The style of the visuals are excellent and the mix of RTS and turn-based strategy gameplay is superb and innovative.

I should be playing Yakuza 2, but it wants me to learn the game of Mahjong before I can proceed. I don't want to flipping learn mahjong... I suppose I could walk around beating people up for money for ten hours to proceed, but I do play these games for fun you know...
Also played as much of KZ1 as I want to to refresh my memory of the story. It's not the LOD or the AI or the lack of jumping that scuppered the first Killzone, it's the fact it plays like wading in treacle. Sooo slooooow.
Finished the 2nd Spyro. Terrific game. Really well thought out boss levels, silky smooth graphics, difficulty is just right, very nice.
Started on the 3rd one. 150-200% bigger levels! 5 playable characters! auto level tuning! Last well recieved Spyro, probably the last you want to play. Also doesn't want me to learn mahjong. Very important.
Gary Oldman is doing the voices for the latest Spyro apparently....!?!

Oh crap... I vaguely remember me getting stuck here paying twice also...
I think something was amiss... I think I just had like just under 100K and had to earn... I can't remember. It's been almost a month since I beat it (and I rushed through it more or less, I did really enjoy it still though).
But I do agree.... the function of this part was messed up... a game should never 'stop' like this. It's very jarring and really takes you out of the whole ride. It's like a roller coaster that stops halfway in a loop or something...
Yakuza 2 seemed to have this problem of not being clear on where you had to go or what you had to do. Yakuza on the other hand never had this problem and was a better game because of it. Definitely a good idea for the gamefaqs.

I played and finished Beyond Good & Evil a few days ago. The game is epic. The gameplay is so insanely varied yet so grounded in such simple gameplay is epic. The graphics are epic. The audio is epic. The characters are pretty epic. The overall design and world is epic.
There are two or three rough cutscenes, one coming towards the end but not at a place late enough at the end game to hurt the ending at all (basically... they are really odd and seem unfinished). Aside from that stuff the narrative is very well done and the ending is absolutely what you want and leaves the obvious sequel, now announced, in your minds.
Framerate is a bit iffy on PS2 sometimes but it's understandable with the graphics. Not sure about the Xbox version.
Suffice to say as much as Ubisoft sucks so bad, Beyond Good & Evil better be in good hands and if it is BG&E2 is a day one buy.

Glad you liked it curry, it's one of my favourite games of the recent generations. Apparently BG&E2 is in development, but there hasn't really been any news on it since the teaser trailer came out.
So, at the moment, I'm swapping between CoD: World at War and Gears 2, and enjoying them both. I had my reservations about CoD, because it's yet another WWII shooter, but it's actually very good.

Yesterday I played LBP online and it was EPIC. I can't believe I'm been missing out on online since launch. This game is fiiiiiinnnneeeeeee.
The last time anything was mentioned on the new game, it was mentioned by Ancel, so he should still be a part of the team who are working on it.
Finished playing through Gears of War 2 yesterday, brilliant game. I dunno if it was just me, but it seemed a lot shorter than the first game. Maybe that's because I played through the first one twice in a day, I dunno
I must say that the end boss was pretty disappointing. After the amount of time it took me to beat RAAM on the first game, I thought I was gonna be in for a toughie at the end. But the end boss took all of 30 seconds to finish, bit of an anti-climax really.

Been raiding the dollar games again. :)
Blasto - Playstation
When the game starts Phil Hartman says "Honey I'm home", that's spooky when you remember how Phil left this earth. OK maybe I'm reaching.
Not aged well, but has a certain charm, kinda looks a lot like an Atari Jaguar game. Blasto reminds you a little of a Captain Quartz Prototype. Worth the dollar I paid for it.
Spider - Playstation
$10 game because this one's a little rare.
ga4Zqq1tXa8
Nice 2.5D platforming gem.
Winter 2001 Jampack - PS2
FFX and a lot of other games looking much better than you remember them in PS3 smoothed hdmi video. Money from the disk goes to 9/11 victims, more spookiness.
Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2 - PS2
Lots of fun because it's simple.

Hahaha! Are you serious! Blasto!? I haven't heard anyone talk about that game in forever. Hahaha great choice.
Uhh... Me and Omni and I'm not sure who (was it Lali and someone?) played the LBP MGS levels...
Yaaaaa.... yaaaaaaaa.... you peeps without this game are epic missing out.... yaaaa...... lol.

Is it just me or does it remind you of...

Lots of games but newest is Resistance 2.
Let's just say I've enjoyed the single player of the first one a lot more.
BUT
The online is superb freakin' fun.
Best online FPS yet I think (on consoles).

I haven't purchased any video games for a while so that my wife actually has some stuff she could get me for Christmas (I know there's a PS3 under the tree and I believe at least a handful of games waiting for me), so I've been wrapping up some older games and, here lately, have been playing La Tale for the PC. I suppose that will change tomorrow, of course, as tomorrow is when we open all the goodies under the tree. I'm into gaming and my wife is into movies so it'll look like an electronics store exploded under my tree in the morning.

Same here, but I'll get all trophies, before I move on (not too many left anyway^^)

If all trophies are the same as the achievements in the 360 version, then damn....It sucks having to get the level 7, 14, and 20 unless you save before each.

Well, I did save before 20... so I only need level 14 with the rest... Since I was "good", it was easy becoming bad :D (going to Girdershade and steal all Nuka Cola bottles and then to Megaton and kill all people :D)
I am still missing the Bobbleheads (have 5, incl the one from Vault 101, which you can't get later), the Behemoths and "build all Weapons", as well as Hacking and Speeches (Speeches are nearly done though, as my Char has 100% Speech). But the rest I think I already have!
And, I might add... it is a GREAT game with a ... I'd say weak story... (main story! not the world itself). Not that I don't find it interesting, but there just doesn't happen much. Compared to other WRPGs it is very weak in the main story department (like NWN or Baldurs Gate, but those are different calibres altogether). Some sidequests however are really fun (well I blew "shoot them in the head" ^^ I killed the questgiver :D).

I only wish my speech was 100%! Its not even close so I'm not even gonna try for that one.
Too bad on screwing the shoot them in the head quest, I barely got that one since my game froze all the time when I went to rivet city later in the game. Kinda stupid, but nothing fixed that issue. Lucky I was done everything else there.

Did you get the one in Raven Rock? Because once you leave, you can't get in there again.

Damn, I couldn't stand it when I had to go back half hour for a old save because something happened let alone anymore then that.

Guitar World Tour - iPhone
You're just hitting the notes not strumming but it's Guitar Heroes for your iPhone, for $10! very nice.
I love Katamari - iPhone
Good god. Tilt to control, and it plays pretty well
Rolando - iPhone
Been called "Loco Roco done right", mainly because you tilt instead of using the shoulder buttons. Might be the best iPhone game evah, not sure.
Field Runners - iPhone
Tower defence for iPhone, hurrah!
Bugger DS/PSP, frankly. Why carry a phone, ipod and game system. iPhone does it all.
Left 4 Dead has been taking up most of my game time lately. I might try picking up Lost Odyssey later on.
Hmm, lets see
Resident Evil 4: I saw a couple of gameplay vids for RE5 and it got me excited enough to pop RE4 back in the good ol Cube (Well, Wii, but cube sounds better). Its amazing how this game still looks really good, imo.
World of Goo: Aweasomly simple (pile balls on top of each other) but totally fantastic.
Zelda OoT: Lol I know, I need new games =/
GH:WT: Its fun, but ill be picking up the Drum edition of Rock Band 2 this weekend since my GH3 controller works for it (the RB guitar is utter garbage, imo)
Civ 4: My do I ever love this game.
And I got Animal Crossing: City Folks, Fin
