I don't think screen caps do this game justice...
The textures look poor, but since this game is played at a high speed with motion blur, it should look impressive in motion.(I'm curious if they can hit 60FPS?)

I just can't get excited about another Sonic title...

Reports claimed that the came seemed to - believe it or not - slow. They also said that it's extremely hard to control Sonic, as the control scheme is very poor.

Remember, this isn't my opinion, it's just from the reviews that I've read at various gaming sites.

I'm watching this one, if they make good use of the No Shock 3 this could be a decent filler title while you're waiting for the likes of MGS4 and Assasin's Creed. If it's going to be identical to the 360 version I'm not that crazy about it.

I don't expect much from it though, Sonic is tired, so so tired... And the recent Sonic games like Shadow and Sonic Riders really stink.

Heard of straight to video? Sonic Riders went straight to bargain bin at my local games shop. I got a demo of it for PS2 and it was just horrible. What are Sega doing to their precious IPs...

A slow Sonic!
Say it aint so...
Seph, I guess you will tell me there's no Santa next...:swear:

Since the game is still in development let's hope they correct this issue.

Sonic just completely lost its luster with the death of the Dreamcast, I have had absolutely no interest in the once great platformer of years gone by for awhile now.

It didn't look very slow too me, sure it's no genesis Sonic but you have to realise how much larger of a scale the levels are, they have special sequences for insano speed for the speed addicts.

Silver IS slow, Sonic was not imo.

Call me a sonic whore but I am totally buying this one. I enjoyed Sonic Adventure and this seems to be the best one since, count me in. I hope the choas make a return, so cute their sickening...

Looks good to me. Definitely an upgrade from SA2.

It's an early build. That sort of stuff is almost expected from an early demo, running on unfinalized hardware. You shouldn't worry.

Besides, all of the devkits, on which the demos were running, were locked in a glass cabinet. I'm surprised that this didn't happen more often.

I agree. Here's the video (http://www.gametrailers.com/player.php?id=10660&type=mov&pl=game). I think it looks much better. Actually, it looks identical the the one running on that devkit back at TGS of 05.
