I do believe this is what some people would consider "next-gen"? Yes, I realize there is an FFXIII thread on the games forum. However, this has much broader implications for the RPG genre as a whole as well as gameplay as a whole in all genres.

Only with massive processing power will you see developers become as ambitious as this. The PS3 will not just be "more of the same". The gauntlet has officially been thrown down

Pumpkin, don't set your expectations too high because you're likely to fall from them. The CELL is powerful, not doubt, but don't even think you'll be 'playing' AC's battle scenes in a smuch detail and motion that was presented in the film.

Remember, AC is a film that took multiple processors hours to render each frame and your wanting one processor to render that at about 30-60 frames per second.

Consider AC a target render much like the Killzone and Motorstorm target renders were.
