Not too shabby for a "just-to-get-out title" according to Josh Robinson.

Seems like they have come a long way since the first screenshots we got anyway. Still, the game doesn't look to fun to me.

Weird, it's like the setting is almost N64 like (think Turok 2...also note the repeated texture on the tents) while the characters have that UE3 gleam to them.

It looks better in motion, but watching the screens just makes wonder why they bother showing screens. It's improving, but some screens still look underwhelming visually.

Not impressed, give me Heavenly Sword...

Whats with the massive axe?

I'm very unimpressed with that image. Seriously, the PS3 is capable of so much more!

Looking a lot better IMO! I really would rather see this in motion but for a slasher I think this is gonna do. They've got respectable visuals, now I hope they make this game more than just a prettier slasher and they put some next-gen gameplay to it, or at least embrace the tilt sensor a bit...

Played it at E3, zzzzzzzzz. Talk about a distinct lack of scope and imagination.

Yea, it's not the best looking PS3 game i've seen, but i liked the other games of this style. The animation was kinda choppy in the video i saw of it a few months ago, so i hope that's somethin they work on before it comes out.

This game was playable at E3? I don't remember reading about it at all.

Horrible, ugly, foggy, crappy textures.

The axe obviously was the enemy in the air's and he lost it, but I rather like it looks in the Champions of Norrath, Dark Alliance mold.

Compared to the grass in the 720P video from a while back I'd say this screen isn't "new" in relation to the build of the game, the grass in the video topped Oblivion's grass. The video looked a lot better... but yeah this game isn't on my list anyways.

It was playable at SOE's area, but it wasn't getting much love :-/

Now it looks on par with ES IV:Oblivion. I guess that's more than enough we can ask from SOE who had no prior experience with SCE's level of game making.

I personally like the look of this game, its a hack'n'slash RPG people. Anyone who is used to Untold Legends and the Champion's of Norrath games will know what to expect, the game looks sweet enough running for the type of game it is.
I'll be playing it just as happy just as I still play Bulders Gate and Champions of Norrath 2.

Indeed... I want to get into the multiplayer aspect of this game.. since I enjoyed Champions of Norrath... the first time or 2 through at least :tardbang:

I like this one http://www.jeux-france.com/Webmasters/Images/48731420060607_032120_3_big.jpg

Very nice. Edging closer to my buy list, but you know... I got 86 items on my buy list, I have to stop somewhere...

Definitely looks a lot better than the shit-storm they showed awhile ago. It's not the best looking game, but it certainly isn't ugly either. If it's on the same level as Champions of Norrath, then I'm there.

Jeezus, is the resolution HIGH ENOUGH?! WTF, do we need anything that huge? LOL

EDIT: After seeing the game in motion and more pics, the engine is a bit drab. Not that it isn't colorful or anything like that. But much like the Doom 3 engine, it seems that they're only using the "one trick pony" effect for everything. Just about all of the elements within the engine are normal mapped; it's quite redundant.

At the very least, it isn't consisted of crappy, low-res normal maps, ala Doom 3.

Unimpressive

I'm hoping they're still improving.

that stuff looks incredible when compare to the PSP counterpart, and seeing as how they are able to expand on gameplay and the environemtn interaction, I am anticipating this title.

Regardsless of what you gusy think abotu how it "looks" this game will do well on gameplay alone. I see it becoming one of the first PS3 "greatest hits" titles.

Thanks for letting me know your opinion. But I'd say my judgement was based on a few screenshots and a trailer, just like yourself mate. And I found not a single reason in your post to think otherwise so no hard feelings when I still go on to think it looks on par with ESIV: Oblivion in its present state.

I don't think its really too much of a deal since ES IV:Oblivion looks just ok for next-gen IMO. Same thing can be said for this game here. Just ok for next-gen. It is all opinion. I stress OPINION ;)

Well during the E3 trailer in the chat room we where comparing the envirenments to Oblivion, the characters never will look similar as the art is differnt, Obvivion trys to look natural and Untold Legends has kind of a cartoony look to it.
