it pretty much keeps freezing even if i reset it. is it a defective unit or what? the only way it wont freeze is if i leave it connected to my computer.

yah, i think that might be it. it always has low battery right after i charge it. my parents are mailing me my receipt so ill probably go exchange it at walmart.

Restore it with the iPod Updater first. That almost always fixes things.
