Advice please

Hi, im new at this forum.
3 weeks now with my PSP, i have GTA and Field Commander and i want to buy one tomorrow, but i dont know which one to buy.
Can you guys give me some advice on some good games (maybe rpg or adventure).
(a friend told me that Popolocrois is a good game).
Sorry about my english, is my second language.

Welcome to the forums Efesto :).

there are many great games for PSP, and even better ones coming out. it depends on what you like. you got everything from 2D fighters to puzzels to action games to unique takes. Loco Roco is getting rave reviews. I don't know when it is out though. there is an exclusive Tenchue game. sports are popular on PSP and even great classical comebacks like Ghosts 'n' Ghouls and Earthworm Jim. SOCOM has very good online modes, and Pursuit Force is a new take on arcade racer and action games.
for RPGs, there are a few as well from Magna Carta to Valkire Profile. Western or Action RPGs like Untold Legends 2.
Daxter is said to be the best platformer and Ratchet & Clank look to follow on that success when it's out. Syphone Filter is a major comback for the series that shines on PSP.

as for whats to come, here are some of my anticipated titles-among others:

Tekken: Dark Ressurection
Silent Hill: Original Sin
Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops
Loco Roco
Lumines 2

I hope a decent RPG comes onto the PSP because all the ones so far suck. You should get all the above mentiond plus if you like racers get

If you like sports games you should check out Fifa 2006 and Tony Hawk's Underground 2 Remix

And to confirm Valkyrie it comes out July 18th (I just checked EBgames) So you have another month or so to go. Also, Valkyrie 2: Silmeria comes out September 19th so you can pick that one up to if the first one is any good. Let's hope it is because I want a PSP RPG SO BAD!!

You've got it the other way around. Graphics, framerate, and load times are much better in the PS2 and Xbox version than on PSP.

No I meant that it's more suited for portable affairs. It's not the type of game you'd sit and play on a console. The controls handle a lot better on the PSP as well because the PSP is perfect for racers.

I disagree. I love Outrun 2 and Outrun 2006 on Xbox. They're fun arcade racers not dissimilar to the Ridge Racer series. And on console, you have the option to play with a wheel, which trumps the PSPs control scheme for racing games.

its been done, they made a steering wheel for the GBA a few years back, dont know how it worked... but you slot the gameboy in the middle of the wheel to use it

hmm, tell me what type of RPGs you like. give me examples of titles you enjoyed. there are a few WRPGs on PSP as well, but I don't care much for that type.

give me names you like and I'll see if there are equivelants on PSP.

All of them are for PSP. Bolded ones are currently Japanese releases only. Magna Carta however is coming over.

All those are coming for PSP in Japan?? Well I never knew that. I knew Magna Carta was but I forgot till you mentioned it. I like FF series. I know Crisis Core is coming to PSP and I like DQ8 but DQ is coming to DS as of now and so if FF 3. I don't play to many RPGs because most tend to bore me. I really like MMOs but I don't have the money to pay for the subscriptions and Guild Wars is free...but I don't have time for those. I also played Planescape FF Tactics Advance and uh yeah some others. I'm not to into them really...I would though if a decent one hit the PSP.

Yeah I know what's all available for the PSP and the key phrase here is "they all suck!" MHF is ok but I'm planning to play that next. The only good one there is X-Men II and the rest are total crap. Let's hope for the future shall we!

how about that Kingdom Heaven game, if I remember the name right. they are making a sequel to it. I didn't mention it before because I thought you wouldn't like it, but since you mentioned X-Men, I thought why not give it a try.

Lol thanks Z but I don't like X-Men. It just got really good reviews and Kingdom of Paradise is freaking horrible. My cousin rented it from Gamefly and it just stunk lol. I'm just going to sit tight for FF.
