Christian Cage is ruining TNA.

No, I'm NOT Sting. But I think CC makes for a lousy TNA champion and I am getting sick of him. Don't get me wrong he is a good wrestler, can talk smack decently, and I have nothing against him personally. However, a CHAMPION must have that extra SOMETHING! CC does not have that.

CC is not a BIG man. He does not have size as an advantage.
CC is not a SUPURB wrestler. He is probably well above average, but nothing really amazing like Chris Benoit as an example.
CC does not really have a visible gimmic going on. He looks like a normal person, with normal cloths, and normal hair.

If a wrestler does not have AT LEAST one f the above going in in a BIG way I don't think he should be the Champion. No wrestler is FANTASTIC in all of those areas, but he should excell in at least ONE. I just can't get into Christian Cage as being the champion.

Basically, everytime he comes on I turn off TNA and watch something else. If he can hold the belt, in my opinion, the belt really does not mean a tremendous ammount.

So youre saying hes just an average guy, and doesnt deserve the title right? I agree somewhat, but he does have a character/gimmic. His Character is Christian, which isnt flashy or over the top like boogeyman or taker, but he does it well. His persona is very similar to Edge or AJ styles. As far as the title goes, I think hes worked hard enough throughout his career to have it now. I do prefer him as a tag team wrestler though.

Christian needs to change his style, get a UNIQUE character, and start off once again as a mid-card wrestler in TNA. He is NOT a bad wrestler and he has been around a while now so he has payed his dues. But his current character in my opinion is really not special enough to be a main-event type of wrestler. He is simply boring in my opinion.

I did like Christian when he was a member of the BROOD in the WWE with Gangrel and Edge.

I doubt thats gonna happen. He was a main eventer in WWE, at least near the end of his run he was. Why would he do any less in TNA? Hes got good mic skills and can draw major heat if he wants to. I agree that he needs a new look though. Id like to see him grow his hair back out, maybe grow a goatee or something, and wear something out to the ring that will differentiate him from AJ styles who has the whole hooded jacket thing going on too. Im glad hes back to being a heel now though.

He may be a bit plain but look at all the champion material wrestlers at this point of time.


John Cena is probably the best of the bunch.

Edge...Just like christian but alot more perverted.

Batista - Sucks.......Probably the worst wrestle in the business right now.

Booker T - He has what it takes, im glad he got his chance again.

Big Show - Being used as a puppet for ECW, ECW shouldnt even exist under
the hands of the Mcmahons.

The Undertaker - Why he hasnt been champion in so long? who knows.
Jeff Jarret - Extream bad guy in the world of wrestling , the equals perfection.

Kane - Was the champion for 24 hours, never to see the belt again...why? oh I know......Hes 7'0, 320ibs, a man that size has chance no of beating edge or cena. (sarcasm)

HHH - Very good champion, but has started to loose the big matches...has a kid now, dont blame em.

Shawn Micheals - Has waht it takes. Needs another shot.

Chris Benoit - My favorite of the bunch, cant wait until he makes his move to TNA (My prediction)
Anyways, Christian is well put where he is at this point, far better then batistas lame as muascle ball, arm twitching sorry ass. (why I mention Batista, we all know he is going to be champ again soon) TNA isnt going to toss the belt around, change the image of the belt, bla bla bla like WWE does, I would suspect to see CC hold on to the belt for some time now.

I'd love to see Benoit as champion again, but I doubt he would go back to WWE. I would like to see him at TNA though, along with Kurt Angle.
