Xbox Live will be the platform of choice for the next instalment of Dead or Alive, at least according to the rambunctious producer of the series and Team Ninja chief, Tomonobu Itagaki.

Speaking yesterday, Itagaki stated that multiple players would be able to fight in real time online, hinting at a Spike Out style romp-em up.

Aside from this, the only other concrete comment he made was to promise that a near-complete Xbox version of Dead or Alive: Code Chronos, to give it its full title, will be unveiled at this May’s E3.

We’ll bring you our hands-on impressions then.

yes i know theyre not the "source of choice" but according to interviews and such we could pretty much figure it out.....

It'd be kick-ass if they put Ninja Gaiden online; imagine, huge ninja deathmatches!

dead or alive on xbox will allow me 2 show my skillz 2 everyone I couldn't play!
1st CVS2, MVC2, GGXX, and now this. the news never stops!

Woah now, Guilty Gear XX hasn't been confirmed for XBox Live, or even the XBox for that matter.

maybe nintendo should pay Tecmo and Team Ninja for some of their dead or alive titles..

Hope DOA4 have a ton of new peeps unlike 3. Hitomi is was new and kicked ass i guess thats why i love..err.. like her so much.
