These appeared on some X360 website not a long while ago. And recent rumors suggested that Project Gray Company is a game set in the Lord of the Rings universe. No idea behind the truth of that matter. Enjoy the screenies for now.

I have been a Tolkien fan since the 4th grade and it is great to see some spin off of the mythology (something that should have been done long ago, hell Im still dreaming of a rpg set in the Tolkien Universe with the return of Morgoth shortly after the 3rd age, with the return of the elves from Valinor and the rising of the Gods). Damn Im a dork.

Is there any information as to what "age" this game is set in or is everything as vague as it sounds.

No, I don't have any idea what period this game is set in. Maybe someone else could share if they know more of it.

But dude, the artwork is awesome! I mean, like you, I'm LOTR fan too. Although, your fan roots go deeper in Tolkein myth without a doubt, lol. So when i found these, I was like Aaaaaahsome!

Lets see if I can dig up more about this game.

PS: I'm really surprised to see EA finally getting new IP's. First, Army of Two and now this game.

cool!

Well, most of those can be found on the official website. I'm not sure they were "leaked." Still, I hadn't seen a couple of them, so thanks for the upload! BTW, the game's producer, Steve Gray admitted the game is LOTR a couple weeks ago in case anyone still wondered...

I'd love to read any book but I always end up snoring regardless of subject material, hehe. I was talking about LOTR movies though :) Thanks for the kind offer bro!

But hey look, I got some info on the game.

- It's called Project Gray coz some guy named Steve Gray is producing it.

- This is where it was known its based on LOTR > Link (http://www.totalvideogames.com/news/EA_Forging_A_New_Lord_Of_The_Rings_Title_10191_603 0_0.htm) <

Some minor details - nothing more out there for now
- An expansive next-gen RPG from the makers of The Lord of the Rings: The Third Age. In the game, the action takes place in a massive open world where you can go anywhere you want, with a story built around a series of Story Quests that players can choose to journey through in any order.

So basically, Oblivion impressed a lot of developers out there ala GTA. So not only is this going to simulat MiddleEarth in polygons but also simulate an open ended sandbox world ala Oblivion. I like the sound of that :)
