I havent posted here for several months now, just to damn busy at work...I have noticed however that the longer time goes on, the more E3 slips from memory, the more I realise that I will be happy with whatever the PS3 is capable of.
It is very easy after posting quite heavily and reading every little detail since dec 04 to get too wrapped up in the fine print. Riding the peaks and troughs of good / bad news can get a little nerve racking.
I sympathise with MILR's points on how what the PS3 has shown so far has been good, but not great.....but thats ok, the older I get , the more I realise just to be happy with whatever comes along - wishing for a game of GTA's originality or GT4 levels of fanaticsm to be shown so early in a consoles life is just going to end in disapointment.
What has to be shown now are the 'catch all' games, games with the widest appeal, anything too original / niche will not spark interest in the majority (read casual ) group of gamers.
18 months from now, I am confident that the PS3 will boast a healthy library, along with some AAA titles, as for framerates , episodic content, the RSX - Im trying not to think of them, just appreciate the finished article when its good and ready...

I was never into it in the first place. I was only interested in price and the games, not all this patent suing and and technical specs stuff.
