PS3 Tokyo Game Show list ?

In this case, you'll want to remember that TGS stands for Take [with] Grain of Salt as well as the Tokyo Game Show, because none of the following information has currently been confirmed as true. According to representatives at the website PS3Land, due to an anonymous source they have come across a list of the games that are going to be shown at the upcoming TGS and they were nice enough to give that information to the world.

PS3Land writers claim that the source is a Sony employee who wants to remain anonymous in order to avoid being fired. Many of the titles were expected, but as many were unannounced at E3 there are new names as well. Being that this is the Tokyo Game Show, the emphasis is on Asian developers and companies. While big name games aimed at American audiences are not likely to be featured here, there are many noteworthy games expected and the show is not to be missed if you happen to be in the area!

As much as I'd want to believe it, I can't. Kingdom Hearts is not due to be worked on till FF Versus XIII is finished says Nomura.

I'd really like to see DMC 4, but like media I doubt we will see Kingdom Hearts 3 until Versus XIII is finished

I also wonder about God of War 3...shouldn't they want all the attention going to God of War 2?

I think they got that from the PS3Forum(as we had a thread like this in which a member claimed that his friend who works at TGS told him the secret list on which games will be at TGS).

Killzone 3 = Expected
Sequel to Shadow of the Colossus = Expected
Sneak Peak at God of War 3 = Expected
Battlefield 3 or believed to be Battlefield 2142 = Expected (although I hope this game flops)

I agree, after this and the "Theseis Canceled for PS3" thing, I'm starting to think PS3Land is just fishing for free hits these days.

I think the wierdest thing on that list is Grand Theft Auto.

I think it's quite simple to find out that list is just a poor attempt of a rumour. Most of those games could be expected to make an appearance, and all of them are sequels or well known upcoming games. Now, if that list included a good number of new titles, I'd still pay some attention and would feel curious.

That's just someone guessing in these slow news days. Don't waste your time reading that, even though many of those games will be there indeed: it's a given :duh:

1. NOMURA and the KH team is fully occupied with FF Vs. XIII at the moment, and he has stated that they'll finish Vs., before moving on to KH3.

2. Team Ico are generally very slow with the dev progress. Hell, they only released two games the entire last gen, and one of them were originally being made for the PS1, and was simply visually upgraded for PS2. So, since they've just released SotC, I can't see a new game being ready yet.

3. Kojima Productions are working on MGS4 ATM. So, unless someone else does it, I don't see it happening.

KH3 - maybe an announcement and first pictures or footage.
Team ICO PS3 project - an announcement, maybe. First pictures / teaser if we are lucky.
God Of War 3 - just some hint at most. They will not formally announce part 3 before releasing part 2.
Killzone "3" - if they mean the sequel to Killzone for PS2, maybe some announcement, pics or even footage.
ZOE 3 - too early to show anything other than a teaser poster or artwork. An announcement, at most.

I think they'll show a trailer for KZ2. They gotta get it out of the door before nthe next-gen train comes and pass them by.

I just hope PS3's Killzone won't look too far away from last year's teaser. I'm certainly not expecting anything too close to it nor the very contrary. As long as it looks good enough, the gameplay is more fun than before, the art is backed by some real talent and the story isn't utter crap, it's fine by me. Still, I think we will meet a few new trolls by the time the real thing is revealed despite how it looks; we'll see things along the lines of "iT i$ teh sukc L0L", "haha, Prerendered Station 3!" and so on.

I want gameplay from MGS4, Assassin's Creed, and FF13. Also I want them to announce that Assassin's Creed is exclusive to the PS3 (here's to hoping).

If those suprises are true,I will be in the gaming heaven with my ps3.
Though I dont expect to see GTA4 at TGS,it isnt kind of game to reveal in Japan to get a lot of hype.
