What happened to the old WWE Championship Belt?

that belt is probably sitting on display somewhere at wwe corporate. I hope they do a redesign of it once they drop the spinner belt, whenever that will be.

Basically the spinner belt is basically Cena's Belt. When he got that belt, you can see that he would have it for a long while. When he lost to Edge, you can tell Cena was going to win it again, because they had Edge with the Cena Belt. Edge was a transitional champion, as his only oppentent was Cena. Cena was obivously going to win it back since the spinning belt was tell there. Once, the Cena era is over (which hopefully is sooner than later), they will go back to the normal belt. However, I don't see that happening until after WrestleMania.
