Mine is Nights by far. After Viper made me defend the Sega Saturn I'm hooked all over again at how amazing that game is.
For those of you who never played it.

I always wanted to buy a Saturn just for Nights and Sonic Jam. But I couldn't afford one back in the day.
PS What were you saying about a gba demo Nights or something?
Nights

If you bought Phantasy Star Online for the Cube then you could download a level of Nights into Dreams on GBA.
Trust me you want to experience the real thing. It's still fun new and fresh. *sighs*

Mine would have to be Jet Force Gemini. I loved that game for the 64 and Oot would be a very close second.

I bought Jet Force Gemini a couple weeks ago but I have way too many games on the go to play it right now. Although I loved Rare in the N64 era so I'm sure to enjoy this game.

I don't know that I can narrow things down to one specific favorite, but several runner-ups come to mind (probably with more that will pop up later after I've went offline):
Super Mario Bros. 3
Super Mario 64
The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker
Super Metroid
Metroid Prime
Donkey Kong Country
Those are just ones that come to mind, at the moment.

I got into OoT late, because I never had an n64, I got the master quest disc. I've tried playing, but never really got far and restarted a few times. I finally started to get into it, and I got the water temple and havent played for a while...someday I'll go back to it, just it's not as fun as everyone says. I don't think it's even a GREAT game, let alone best ever! I enjoyed WW and LttP more, but that's just my opinion.
But me all time favorites are Shenmue and Shenmue II. Yay for Shenmue!

 Within days of its release, it was heralded as the "Video Game of the Century" all over the place. Surely tens of millions of fans and industry experts can't all be wrong about it.

Super Mario RPG: The Legend of the Seven Stars.

You should play Jet Force Gemini Rabunis. It is a pretty big game to play , good graphics and very fun. You'll like the multiplayer options, once you've unlocked them. Rare was awsome in the 64 era.

Rare was awesome in both the N64 era and the SNES era. They were always amazing with producing wonderful graphics, not to mention gread games in general. Jet Force Gemini looked great, even without the memory expansion pack, and the sound was killer, but the game play was terrific, too. I didn't like the multiplayer mode, though. To its credit, however, at least the multiplayer mode featured a lot of options and different play modes.

O yea. that's what made it fun though. I didn't beat it yet . It's tedius. I don't got my 64 any more. I wish they'd make Kameo . That game looked fun.

Alpha Centauri for PC...its like Civilization on steroids, and has an infinity amount of replay value... gawd Sid Meier makes good games

I kinda agree with you there. The first time I played it was on the bonus disk just before I got WW. I made it to Ganons castle and have yet to beat it but I feel I got a majority of the gameplay experience. I have to say WW had me more hooked than OoT. While I think OoT was a great game, it wasn't the end all masterpiece everyone made it out to be. In my opinion of course.

I agree. Then again my favorite was the most underated game of all time. Well at least in my opinion.

My favorite game ever is Mega Man X for SNES. That game was awesome.

OOT is an awesome game, but with Zelda games.. well they have great replay value, but for me I have to wait a year or two between times I beat it.. I just beat LTTP on my gba for first time in years, but it will be awhile before I play it again... PC games are great because they have infinite replay value (some of them, especially godgames and RTS games: civ, alpha centauri, starcraft, heroes of might and Magic III, etc.)

i find my favorite PC game was X- Wing . That game is awesome . Just the way the game was.
I can only narrow mine down to
OOT
LTTP

Golden Eye

The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time. I have played and beaten that game at least 10 times. No other game can even touch Oot!

I forgot about both Oot and Goldeneye. Must add them to my list. Oh and Jet Grind Radio for DC was cool too.
HolyPaladin
03-24-2004, 06:29 PM
 You forgot about Ocarina of Time? Is that possible?
Nights
03-24-2004, 06:33 PM
Easily... LOL

03-24-2004, 06:36 PM
Well, not for most people. The game ruled to much to forget. Forgetting OoT is like forgetting that there is a video game industry.

Only if your a nintendo fanatic I guess that would be your crown title. It was a great game for it's time. I remember I started playing that game, then I got Shining Force 3 in the mail, put that in and didn't touch oot tell after I beat Shining Force 3 twice.
Damn the uknown classics!

My all time favorite games was back on the NES. Its a close tie between two games. Each holds a special place in my heart for different reasons.
Street Fighter 2010, and Battletoads
Both of these are my all time favorite titles for any system. I have dire hopes that Nintendo will remake these games.

Street Figher 2.
Perfectly balanced. Nothing in anyother generation can touch it. It has gotten a bit slow for my tastes, but I can still marvel at how balanced it is.

Both ALttP and Super Metroid would be excellent picks, and both rank very, very high among my favorite games of all time and my most memorable of gaming experiences. ALttP was indeed quite good, so I can imagine how it could be picked over later series entries.

MagicJuggler
04-08-2004, 02:52 AM
In terms of the most hours I've spent, Half-life with it's many mods, add-on packs, multiplayer bouts, etc.
In terms of being the most "Complete," I'll say Zelda 64 for I have yet to try Grand Theft Auto.
In terms of best play control, Mario 64.
In terms of being the most "Fun," Jagged Alliance 2.
