And how Matt could have made WrestleMania...
WWE was planning on having a Matt Hardy vs. Mark Henry match at WrestleMania XX before Henry got injured. The plan was to have Hardy snap his losing streak at the show. Once Henry got injured though, WWE dropped Hardy's losing streak gimmick.

Some interesting notes...
- Many backstage are surprised at how well Chavo Guerrero Sr. is fitting in backstage. Most had heard that he had a big ego during his prime and would be hard to get along with. On the contrary, reports are that he has been bending over backwards to get along with everyone.
- Some WWE officials have been critical of Lita since she returned from neck surgery. Many think that she has not been comfortable in the ring since returning. Some defend her, however, by saying that the only reason people think that is because she doesn't take as many risks as she used to.

Everyone told to be team players...
While most fans did not like the Cruiserweight Open match at WrestleMania XX, the participants in the match were apparently very happy with it. The match was not designed to steal the show, it was designed to help build to the main event. WWE booked the entire show in a fashion to build to the main event and create a hot crowd for that bout. Because of that, WrestleMania was a very team oriented show with the roster working towards one common concept.

Huge loss of talent forces Show to work through injuries...
The Big Show was planning to take time off following WrestleMania due to medical reasons, but that seems to have been put on hold. With Brock Lesnar, Goldberg, The Rock, and now possibly Kurt Angle all leaving, WWE felt it best to delay Show's time off.

Two lovebirds to stay together..
Brock Lesnar informed Vince McMahon of his decision to leave WWE two weeks ago. Vince then told Lesnar to take a week and think about it. When Brock still had his heart set on leaving the next week, Vince OKed it. Brock was set to beat Goldberg at WrestleMania, but WWE changed the finish to Goldberg winning even though Goldberg was also leaving. The reason for this was because WWE was apparently "angrier at Brock."
Brock and girlfriend Sable actually broke up the week before WrestleMania but have since worked things out and are back together.
Brock was said to be very embarrassed and "pissed off" at the reaction he got from the MSG crowd during his match. He left the building quickly after the bout and did not attend the post-WMXX party.
Brock's friends seem to believe that the whole NFL thing was more or less just an excuse for Brock to leave. Brock has apparently been fed up with the people in wrestling as well as all the games.

- WWE production crew members handed out signs at RAW on Monday that read "Egghead" and "Molly's bald."
- The DVD for WrestleMania XX will be a three disc set. The set will feature the PPV itself, the Heat broadcast, Hall of Fame footage, bonus interviews, the 'Greatest Matches in WrestleMania History' TV special, and 'The Mania of WrestleMania' special.
