I replayed level 6 and 7 again to build up some health and magic.

Magic: Level 2 Ice, Level 1 (both fires)
Health: Full Bar
Health Reserves: 5 small, 2 full

Sword: level 3

4 Magic Containers
Magic Upgrades: 1 small

I was down to hit for hit with Alma, if I hit her she died and If she hit me I died, well guess what 3 min later she hadn't tried to attack me, BULLSHIT. and I beat 60 people in that damn room for the extra magic upgrade (friend revealed a nice little secret)

don't upgrade the ice magic thing, the art of Inferno (fireball magic thing) is what you need to get maxed out. its more powerful and a much larger range then the ice storm magic

the secret is in ch 7 before you kill alma go and beat 60 guys in the archives and you get a magic upgrade

can someone help me? how do you kill the chapter 5 boss. the big tentacle guy. You know, you take on a couple of fiends and then the squad guys....then you see that girl again. and the thing comes right up and swallows her. HOW DO YOU KILL IT. i have no potions, nothing.

The chapter 5 boss is one of the easiest in the game.. You should be able to beat him without taking much (or any) damage at all as long as you know what to do. You have to slice off his tentacles first, and then when they are all off is when you should deal out the damage. Then they'll regrow back and you repeat the process until he's dead.

Use A + Y (Flying Swallow move) with the lvl 2 dragon sword to cut off his tentacles, when the tentacles are off hold Y to absorb an essence that he drops and then let go to do an ultimate attack on him while hes vulnerable.

The WarHammer you get after level 7 you watch the cut scene and you have to go back inside to get it. Also if you give the old man 30 scrabs he'll give you the dailibor *can't spell it* whcih is also a big weapon.

Yes the skeleton guy is the boss..but he's not that hard if you are good.

The whole game except for the first 2 chapters (where the plot starts) and chapter 3 (where he gets to the city) because the guy (Doku) is inside the city but he is deep in a hidden place where you'll have to find him...actually you'll enter that same place but it will all be flooded. The point of the game is to defeat Doku then the plot changes a little...you'll have to find out.

P.S. - Don't worry about the "underground" area being where the whole game rotates at you'll exit that place after chapter 7.

ive made it to chapter 12.....its tough...great game...some bosses look intimidating, but maybe after 3-4 tries, finally you master your moves and learn what they do and you beat the crap out of them...i cant wait to playh this game on hard!! its gonnabe insane

You're supposed to perform a continous wall jump whre you wall run along one wall, than jump than the other, than jump and than jump up to the top is where the windmill shuriken is

you need help for alba? or taht greater fiend? so do i. SHE KILLS ME SO BAD. haha, yes. need some advice, ALWAYS BLOCK. a true ninja know when to block, and when to attack.

go to your sword (where you equip it) and press Y, it'll tell you all the combos you can do...test them out in an area with respawning enemies.

I JUST FOUND A MAJOR ESSENCE HELPER!
AFTER YOU DEFEAT THE DINOSAUR (end caps) go back to the room with the bats in it. Take out the flails. Save and you'll notice the bats respawn. Go up to the platform just below the batroom and kill the 2 bats, go up the platform so you're on level with the batroom. Than charge and kill 5 or so bats with the ultimate essence attack thing. Than there should be about 4 or 5 left, charge up with the big balls and let loose. In 6 minutes, I got 7K essence :D

here's some xamples:

24698 (this is just after I defeated the dinosaur boss and the only essence I ever spent was on a 3K sword upgrade and 1 K izuna drop thing)

EDIT: upgraded the wood sword, not what i expected but whatever, I have also beaten the past 4 bosses on the first try! I have 49 scarabs wheres the last one, i am afriad I missed it!!!!!




wouldn't it be cool if for DOA ultimate you could use all ryu's weapons and your final character in it.

57 hours total played in this game, I have two games going. One where I got all the scarabs and EVERYTHING in the game and the other is a run thru just beat the game type. I am on chapter 15 level 4 of the castle and I have the unlabored flawlessness (not exactly what i expected but it serves fools) and max health,magic, level three inzanuna (i dunno how its spelt) and level three fireball. Upgraded all the weapons and max health backups but only one rebirth shiz, i accidentally saved when messing around.

If your on level 4 then it must be the deity of the devil your reffering to, and Im not sure how you could have not gotten it, I pretty much got it as I progressed with little trouble. I believe the Deity of the Devil is in the labyrinth before the entrance to Zarkhan Palace, the place where those spiritual fish wont stop harassing you.

I thought you were reffering to the fact that you didn't have the appropriate deity statue for the fourth level of the Zarkhan Castle. When you breach the castle walls, in each of the four floors you must put one of the statues there to continue up the castle, and so I thought you meant you were missing the one which goes in the fourth floor, which should be, if my memory serves me correctly, the Devil Deity.

Yeah Alma is such a bitch. She has two throws, a ground throw which almost has no startup and is very hard to see coming, and an air throw that homes in on your location(incredibly annoying). Both do tons of damage, so I recommend not getting hit by them, although I firmly believe that the later is almost unavoidable at a certain distance. Try to time your Fireball Magic attack with one of her attacks, particularly her purble orb attack, which has plenty of startup. Once shes hit you should have enough to go up and combo her. Otherwise she will most likely dodge it, but the damage it does to her is well worth it, not to mention it stuns her for several seconds, which as I said is ample time for you to nail her with a combo.

I just beat it for the 2nd time.

At the end of the game (last level) where Rachel is hanging on that cord thing over the lava, I shot her with my bow and arrow. She screamed/died and I got the Game Over screen. Pretty funny. I didn't even think of doing that the first time through.

i beat it, end boss was easy as fuck, the only hard part was the jumping from ledge to ledge, i do like games that are one battlefor victory at the end, more of a realistic end, but 9 / 10 ONE FLAW, camera!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!



I am furious that you have to go thru the game again without the benefit of your weapons, the second time thru the game on successive play you should get to keep your weapons. Also you only get the MK saber thing if you start a NEW game, whats the point of that. I don't want to play a whole new game and not reap any of the benefits of successive play. this is really pissing me off
