I remember seeing Iggy Pop earlier his year at BDO.

I highly doubt RHCP could top that.

"Meet me at the coffee shop,
We can dance like Iggy Pop."
Red Hot Chili Peppers - Coffee Shop

But that's not got much to do with anything.
I just wanted to point out that small connection.

I hoped someone would see the connection.

However my statement was also true.

Iggy can outdo any damn rock star on stage. True monster of rock 'n roll and one of the most intense stage personas ever.

I heard about that concert on Gold 104. Everyone on the radio plays RHCP to death and now their songs are kinda pissing me off.

I've seen both Iggy and the Chili Peppers. Red Hot Chili Peppers won hands down imo.
Iggy didnt play any of his more famous songs when i saw him. While the chilis played loads off their new album.
I saw Peal Jam yesterday, mind blowing i must say.

Therefore Iggy should win hands down then :-D

Pearl jam were very good, the rest of the lineup for sunday sucked though really except for less than jake, rakes, kooks who were IMPOSSIBLE to get near to, with the lack of a lockup stage on sunday. Kooks were definitely a mainstage band.
I know you saw 99.9% Muse Rizon, but raconteurs were absolutely amazing. After I saw kaisers I knew Muse would be like off their album but they were so talented. Their cover of Teenage kicks was the song of the festival for me, Fratellis and maccabeers were also good bands and I saw coheed and cambria for a bit.

I didnt see Muse. I was at the Concrete jungle watching Reel Big Fish.
The sunday line up i thought was the best as it was a tad more heavier for my liking.

Primal did it for me on the friday.

Panic got bottled at Reading if you hadnt heard seahorse.
It was a good throw as well, direct hit in the face. He was down on the floor for like 5 min.
respect for him carrying on with the set. However MCR shouldnt have.
I have a slayer set list :D

Your that excited for the chilli peppers? I dont mind there music, but is it like they put on that good of a stage show?

I'm going to see queensryche on september 27th for the operation livecrime parts 1 and 2. It is going to be a hell of a show. If you dont know they have like a play going on in the background while they play.

yeah the singer mentioned it, leading to booing at reading... weird, everone seemed to love panic a leeds (the guy was like "well you are definitelya better crowd than reading"... but then again pretty much every band said that.). And MCR.

did fall out boy do that thing where they make everyone throw stuff at each other? at leeds he basically split the crowd in two, then said "go to war", after mentioning the panic bottle incident.

fall out bot split the crowd, and got each side to throw rubbish at each other. I wasnt there though. and i dont remeber any booing for panic though. Only like two bottles were thrown.
MCR, well. I hated them. gerrad way has an attitude i want to punch in the face. They got bottled, and had golf balls thrown at them. Then gerrad attacked the daily mail, about the cult thing. and then sang a song about self harming. hypocrite. But he heard me when i shouted I love the daily mail due to me being on the front row all day. Worth it all for pearl jam though.
