Due to personal issues, Kurt Angle has been granted an early release from his contract. WWE looks forward to establishing a new relationship with Kurt in the near future.
The only Olympic gold medalist in WWE history, Kurt Angle arrived in 1999 and quickly became one of the most decorated champions in sports-entertainment history. "The Wrestling Machine" is not only a six-time World Champion, but also held the Intercontinental Championship and WWE Tag Team Championship; he also won the 2000 King of the Ring tournament. Recently joining ECW, Angle’s unmatched intensity was rivaled only by his technical and athletic in-ring prowess.
Damn It Angle was my favorite wrestler, hopefully he comes back sometime or maybe TNA.

I wouldn't doubt it.
The way WWE is today they will probably try and pay him to have fake sex with Umaga.

Poor Angle, hope he's okay, and his injuries aren't perminent.
I love the way that little article makes it out like he was amazing for winning the title so many times, even though it's all scripted :-D

By the way, I have read a lot about Kurt Angle and in real life he has a LOT of health problems. He actually has health problems that go beyond what was mentioned in that article.
Basically, he has been pushing his body very hard for a long time and he needs a break.
Also, if your mind gets worn down in the ring your going to get hurt. In wrestling if you don't time a move right you can kill yourself or kill someone else.
Kurt has done the best thing for himself and other wrestlers.
However, I would like to see him come back at some point in the future, but not until he is ready.

I'll bet BOTH nutsacks he doesn't show. HE REALLY needs time off, if we're lucky he'll be back in time to build up a feud in time for next summerslam.

If I was fairly rich like Kurt Angle from being a WWE superstar and had serious health problems I would NOT be in a rush to return. I would want to make sure I was properly healed and rested. Wrestling takes a tremendous toil on a body. All of those punches, slams, and throws might not always *injure* a wrestler but they do indeed hurt. I watched a special one time with the Hardee Boys and Lita. They said that they are ALWAYS injured while wrestling to some degree or another.
If Kurt comes back too soon he will get injured even worse and/or burn out quickly.
