I wouldn't worry about the lighting, most PS3 games seem to be doing the lighting as one of the last touch ups.

I don't think this is launch game either, so it still has time.

Real Quick Rant about EA

If they can make a F1 game look this good, then why the heck do they have to make all the NASCAR games crappy. :rant:

FYI - My Car in my avatar is from NASCAR Racing Season 2003 for PC, and to this day its still the best NASCAR game out.

Haven't played an F1 game in frigging years, really looking forward to this, only one I have in the collection is a Saturn one with a japanese guy who won't shut up. :)

Maybe they are just racing in the early morning or late evening, but the lighting of the outside world just looks pretty dim in those images.

Overall, they look very good. The lighting just needs some work in my opinion.

It seems though there is a problem with the screens Sony Japan are putting right now. Especially the lightning which doesnt seem natural at all in those pics...

Pics are impressive and I think he is referring to the dim lighting...
I think it's just the quality of the pics and perhaps the source.
I wonder is the GT team providing any assistance with this title?

-First pics comes from the E3 2k5 CG trailer
-The two last screens are from the E3 2k6 build and so, old!
-Pics 2, 3 and 4 are new and certainly from a newer build. These screens need some gamma correction.

Lightning is really really poor. They should take a look at Heavenly Sword an MGS4. The lightnings on this two titles are amazing.

Crumcon, look at the edited pics I posted above. IMO It's closer to the orignal game than the ones Sony posted.
