Jeremy Dunham over at IGN said that all this footage was taken before the recent major event that is still under embargo. That means that the game actually has probably improved since this point.

I get this strange feeling that something major may come out of this "embargoed" event. Like, we have so much on Resistance already, why is this event "embargoed"? I don't get it. There also was supposedly a LOT of people there. Is something more going on than we know about? I really don't want to make this into a bigger thing than it is, so I don't get overhyped, but it just seems really strange that they are keeping such a tight lid on this event.

The 1up guys even said that the levels they got to play looked better and different then the footage Sony released to them.

For some reason during the tour (at 9:48) when they showed one of the LCDs displaying the cathedral battle and the lighting is MUCH less yellow, and the lighting is also much more prominent (as well as what I suspected was HDR), which does not translate to the direct-feed videos AT ALL.

It depends on the display tech, lcd often have a different "look" to them (particularly if they arent calibrated).

Of course thats just a possibility I dont know of any official reason.


PS- Just to ask the reference you made isnt a sp to mp comparison is it???

I saw this earlier today on The 1up Show.

Boring video in my opinion. Nothing too new is shown and the quality was lacking.

Those guys talk in an annoying way too.
I like how they posed next to the "girl" in the bikini- That made them WAAAY cooler ;)

Think the quality has improved a little on the alien character.

A tip is actually to download the whole show instead of the video as its much faster that way, 5´times in my case. :cheers:
