In this thread just analyse a match you lately saw.
Ill start
Tottenham vs United
0-1
The only goal of the match came in the 8th minute after Edgar Davids concedes a free kick 35 yards out. Ronaldo took the shot which, although pretty much at Robinson, swerved and was parried at the ground. This left a pretty much empty goal for Giggs to header into.
Tottenham, while pushed on, squandered there chances. They took more of a grip on the game but nothing seemed to be working out. Micheal Dawson failed in chipping Van Der Sar and King shot the rebound at his legs.
Two or more headed chances went begging in the second half with both Mido and Defoe failing to connect well enough onto a few sitters.
The game however, wasn't all tottenham after the goal. Manchester attacked with every opportunity. Carrick, playing against his former side put in many attacking balls which were met by Giggs or Neville.
Saha was threaded into the box and decided to shoot in the second half. His shot went high and wide and left questions as too why he didn't square the ball across the box to Ronaldo who surely would have scored from that range.
The best chance of the match came late in the second half. A cleared ball left Louis Saha with an open road ahead of him. He shrugged of left-back Ekotto but had his shot saved by Paul Robinson.
