This is definately old and not really a mass media commercial.
This is a clip taken from the PS3 Europe web site, several clips will be released discussing the power of the PS3 in simple non technical terms.

I think the clips are brilliant, because they are made with the non-technical in mind. The average consumer is not concerned about how many computations per second the PS3 CPU can perform they just want to know how the power will impact games in simple terms. Peace
