How many of y'all here run Cross Country? I love CC. I dedicate my summers just to train for the season. Anyone else like it as much as me?

I ran my freshman, sophmore, and junior year. I missed my senior season (this year) with a stress fracture, which I got by overtraining in the summer.

Well, I love Tennis too, but am no good at it. I tried last year, but I could never get the spin on the ball, and the ball most the of time nocked out of the quourt. How embarasing
Sweetness- That stinks. You must have been training preeeetttty hard. Do you plan on running in any more events now that your out of HS? One of my motivaters for running CC is that I'm shooting for the school record in the mile and 400m. My coach has been telling me I can do it, so I'm going to try.

I was only averaging 100 miles per week.
Anyways, after HS, I plan to do some road races (5k, 10k, 10 miles), and maybe try a marathon or something.
WOW! I"M HIGH

I'm one of those people that can sprint the first mile, and then I crap out on the next two. I was always torwards the front of the pack the fisrt mile-mile and a half of every race.
Nathan- Well...at my school that is qite the contrary.
Sweetness- only 100 miles? I did 60 and I thought I was doing good. I also ran in the pool alot. That is hard to do.
