It's 2006. Where are my flying cars? Yes I know they have them already, but you need a pilot’s license (which is silly because they are VTOL and you don’t need to use an airport runway, but I guess you need a license to use a helipad too). I don’t want big bulky VTOL specially licensed cars, I want something like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RFfbk25gjs8 speaking of which, what is this from?

Woooooo what a surprise, America beat Japan in being the first country with flying cars. This will solve GMs money issue. I bet the people in Detroit are jumping up and down right now.
yea its fake

Those videos on YouTube are part of a GM viral marketing campaign. Havent you seen those commercials yet? this is just to add to that.
EDIT: just for the hell of it, i looked at all of their profiles. All of the directors joined YouTube about a week ago, all at the same time. The german one is so freakin stereotypical too! His favorites include 2 David Hasselhoff videos, LOL.
But yeah, to make this relevant, I would buy one of those (http://www.gizmag.com/go/5910/), thats awesome, and I would be able to fly to Cali for E3 without a plane ticket :D

No, I haven't seen the commercials. What a let-down, I thought it was some student project or something. I guess it's a good ad campaign, though. I googled GM and flying cars and got this: http://www.angelfire.com/planet/futuretechtoday/
