Has anyone heard of this band? They are a genre I like to call "Nintendo Metal". Give them a listen. They are a mix of intense and melodic riffs. Very 80's metal. Give them a listen and tell me what you think. All That Remains, the band that my band opened up for, are playing with these guys in the UK. I have to say these guys are awsome.

DragonForce is power/trash/speed metal. They are one fucking bad ass band. I have the newest album Inhuman Rampage and love it. If you don't like power metal though, then why the hell would you even bother trying to diss these guys. They could rape any other musician. It's like the strings that they use are crafted to withstand the heat of the sun because they play that fast.

Ok I could go on forever. These guys are great, the singing you might think its cheesy, but it goes back to metals roots and its the stuff i like, you can understand them and the music is about making you feel I guess powerful, or this force. Because it is, well power metal.

If you can not atleast respect what they do. Well then I can in no way rightfully respect your musical opinions either.

PS. Nate, Sacrement kicks all sorts of ass. I love it.

Dragon Force, Hammerfall, Rhapsody, Manowar they're all so fucking cheesy and self rightious its fucking funny to listen to. I love the lyrics and the cheesy speed solo's are just icing on the cake.

I don't take it seriousley though. The genre would have to get called like Cheese Metal or like Comedy metal.

Valley of the Damned is a good album; fast as fuck and full of musical wankery, but, like all power metal, it really starts to grind after a while. I don’t like their new one, though.

Of course ive heard of Power Metal. I just call it Nintendo metal myself because of the keyboard effects thrown in there. But yeah, these guys are fucking awsome.

Thier music makes you feel as if you're a champion warrior raising your sword in the air giving a triumphant war cry after slaying a demon dragon taller than the highest tower spawned from the 7th layer of hell.

I may go see them live. They're playing somwhere close and tickets are like £20. I don't particulary like the music, I mean it's ok, but I'd just go for the experience.

DragonForce is cool because they're damn cheezy in the most awesome of ways. For one, the band's name is about as comedic as it can get when it comes to Power Metal. However, it's so lame that it turns out to be awesome. The music is fast. Really fast. The lyrics are pretty much the same in every song, but rearranged differently.

Those guys farkin' jam during their solos. I like only a select few of their songs, but they rock.
