Going to carnivals is one of my favorite things to do when one comes into town. How many carnivals have you been to?

I'm normally at them with my l33t bunny skillz. I'll be going to this Halloween one or something at the end of this month here in town.

For the past 12 years, I've been showing at the Del Mar Fair (later renamed San Diego County fair) with Sheep and Rabbits. I have a whole collection of trophies, plaques, etc, because I AM the man now, dog.

I am also not scared of any rides, and skip the gay rigged games and horrible food that'll kill you.

I hate carnivals/fairs. I usually end up losing a big amount of money on stupid shit when I go. I wasted about $40 last year, and about $30 this year. I tried to win this huge Sonic plushie which kicked a whole load of ass, and I failed. The only reason I usually ever go is to check out my artwork and see if I ever got any ribbons. This year, I finally got a 1st place ribbon for something I created in Photoshop.

Other than that, fuck fairs. I'll just stick with Cedar Point.

the rides tend to suck too. They had one cool one here called the ring of fire... it was just one huge verticle loop that you went around for like 5 times. other than that, all the rides are just there to make people puke.

Fair comes to my town every year for a week in the summer. I usually go once or twice with some friends at night and have fun. We also get the ring of fire ride. It's pretty fun.

We just had a carnival this weekend.

I like them butthey cost a fortune anymore.

Eaxample: The Furyball cost 5.00 to ride ONCE 0_0 << Big twisty ride at the fair.

We dont have carnivals as such, well at least we dont really call them that, Most of the towns have a show as such, and they have a whole heaps of displays, rides, showbags, and Competitions - Eg cakes, art and what i do personally the horses. Each Capital city has their own massive big show that lasts a week. Now there expensive, the Ekka(Brisbanes Show) costs $20 to get in the gate, then theres everything else... but its kinda cool. You reckon you spend alot of money in a day or two, Try being there a week!

I enjoy going to them to hang out with friends and check out the females. ;)

I never go on the rides because I ussually find them boring. The shows and other little unique booths are always fun to check out. The games on the other hand tend to be a waste of money, imo anyway.

I hate carnivals and they always seem to find me.
The Notting Hill Carnival somehow found it's way to Bayswater this year and a bunch of main roads got closed making be thoroughly lost. So I had to park far off and try to navigate my way through a bunch of pissed up bastards blowing whistles and what not.
And then just the other day (other week) I was trying to make my way to Leicester Square and Reagent's Street and the place had to been taken over by some Spanish carnival of some sort. There was sand everywhere, too many people and a general atmosphere of "what the fuck are you doing here, you're not Spanish?"
I hate carnivals.
