Hope for Ps3 to ramp up production

Actually Im not worried about the popularity of PS3 or capabilities over the competition. Even with tons of critisism from all sides, constant bashing, bad news and stupid decisions from kutaragi and hirai, tons of CGi lies, etc. They stilll have legions upon legions of fanboys and hardcore fans. What Im worried is they will loose because they lack the supply which may force or sway fans to buy the other consoles. I hope Sony ramp up the production of Ps3 so they will not be left behind in numbers by both Xbox 320 and Wii. I admit Ps3 is more popular but they lack the supply which will force others to buy the available ones especially if they see something good from them. Please Sony increase your production ASAP

Hey Im just worried that other console have accumulated lots of sales already because they have better supply. PS3 needs to make it quick and large quantities. If PS3 fails we will not be in this forum. No more Ps3 forums. Also Because they made a lot of people angry in Europe especially here in France I think the price should be lower in euro launch. $299 will be okay.

This I actually agree with, but we'll just see how it plays out. It all depends on the Blu-ray diode ramping, and I'm not straight buying in to the 1.2 million a month claims yet - that seems to me a very aggressive target to reach in two months from where they are now.

MS will not have a 10M headstart like they wished, and even if PS3 starts out slowly I think they have a great software line up that potential buyers will wait for.

Who in their right mind actually does that? I buy a console, for the games. If "X" console has 10 games i really want to play(cost twice as much), and "Y" console has 2 games( cheaper), then im going to buy console X, even if i have to wait a year.

Buying a console is really a one time admission fee, your really buying into the games that are in developmenr/released. So i find the whole "PS3 too expensive" foolish. Supply is not really a issue either(at least for me) :cycspin:

I think people are much too easy to jump to conclusions about the PS3 and the so called "console war". 2 of the 3 consoles have not even been released. Of course it is quite a scary and somewhat uncertain time, but so was the switch to the PS2 and look how that turned out. Now I am not going to tell you everything is fine and rosy, but it is by no means a disaster either. I think after TGS people will start remembering what Sony is all about. This is not because I know something you guys don't, but Sony is yet to go on the attack and really show what the PS3 is made of. I am a little worried of course, but I cannot imagine that PS3 will be a flop at all. It might take a couple of years, but I am sure PS3 will at some point take the majority of the market share. And with that I mean it wont take the market share from the 2 competitors, but from PS2, which will continue to be the biggest platform for a while to come yet.
