lol, atleast you can probably play dude..I suck so bad, that guitar means alot to me not only cuz it's just badass and well known to be one of the best guitars ever made, but it was my stepdads who passed away in 03 who I miss very much, and since I can't play and my stepdad was so bad ass at guitar I like to see the old thing get played real good. Makes me feel proud and I know that charlie would be proud that it's getting the hell played out of it when it needs it.

Pisssttt. I'm a girl.

Anyway, yeah. I suck too. I've been playing for a few months. So I don't expect myself to be amazing like.
I don't know if my guitar sucks or if it's good, cause I have nothing to compare it to. For me, it does the job.

lol, I have a good memory and I'm sure she was cute..and I didn't buy that guitar, my stepdad got it in 1981 for 1000 bucks. Now it's worth around 4500 I think, but will never be sold. Lots of famous people play it, and if you seen the movie 'freebird' the same guitar is used live to play freebird at the end of the concert.

got a pic of it? the most common fender strat is what they call a mexican strat, but I think it's white and red usually. Doesy or someone knows more about guitars then me.

Like Nathan mentioned, it's a Fender, only Fender makes Strats, but it's typically used to describe all guitars that look similar. Exactly which model I couldn't be sure of, for obvious reasons. And "Smoke on the Water" is easy to play, it's like the first song everyone learns.

Even though we can't see it I'm sure it's a SWEET guitar Nathan, I'd love to have a Les Paul. I have an Ibanez and it gets the job done, been playing for for like seven years and I'm pretty good, but he's WAY better than me.

Molly's Guitar is a squier. They're an alright guitar compnent wise, but the wood they make them from are fucking shit. But she'd be happy to know that the bloke from Arctic Monkey's plays one, explaining why their music sounds shite.

Thats a really nice guitar Nathan, your cousin looks like he's pretty talented. The 66 - 76 years in the gibson is easily compareable to the 54 - 64 years in Fender because in my opinion that when Gibson made their best guitars. They started using a wood supplied from somewhere in Africa after that but they sounded a lot less full and even the mahogany they used in the Les Paul's had only half as much sustain. You're real lucky to have that Guitar.

I'll get some pics of my 68 Gibson and my New Strat when I get a camera of my own.
