Once and for all, is Bioshock coming to the PS3 at any point?

With the way the term "exclusive" has been bandied about these days (Oblivion, PES, Assassin's Creed etc), it's a little unclear to know when there is no definative confirmation given. Peter Moore's little "exclusive at Spring 2007" speech doesn't quite offer closure for me. Plus the game was featured in the latest OPM.

So what gives?

I think eventually it will come out on the PS3. I imagine it is only going to be a timed exclusive for the 360.

I think the game may eventually find it's way to the PS3, but it's a good win for the 360. Typically publishers do not mention the release date of an exclusive or time exclusive title on other platforms. I doubt anyone on the forum has the answer you seek, but I'm not sure if you really want an answer or just to remind people that Bioshock is an 360 exclusive... Peace

I'm with nameless...we have all seen the trailers, but the game doesn't do anything for me. Looks actually boring.

Theres no official word but im sure it will at some point it will hit ps3.
It might take a year or so but im sure it will make its way there. The game looks awsome, its not going to be a mega hit, its for people that enjoy that deep atmostphere, art, and story.

Yeah the graphics are crazy-Water physics are the most impressive effects I've seen up close like that. But just like I said before-too slow for me..I"m not into that Thief/RPG/FPS type of thing. I think that's a trait for western devs to "blend" genres together-with games like Bioshock, Oblivion, and Mass effect to support that statement. Besides some really impressive eyecandy-I usually don't look at em twice...I might just be too used to gaming on Playstation where the majority of the games are Japanese oriented-but that whole atmosphere in those games just turn me off. Especially Mass Effect-which I'm madd btw cuz it looks so pretty. It just reminds me of Star Wars:mad:!!!!!!!!!!!!

I also doubt this game will come to PS3. It'll probably won't be worth it since most people that are into the game will get it on 360. BUt the time the exclusive deal is up or whatever-something prettier and bigger will be on the horizon. So my answer-although strictly opinion to the thread title is NO...

This game is just gorgeous, the art style is so intense.

In some ways, it reminds me of "The 7th Guest" from way back... can't figure out why. Probably because that game scared the crap out of me!

Yeah, Bioshock is great. Watch the 10 minute trailer and notice the guy plays through the game, only seemed to shoot his gun once, just to show you "Don't fire your gun". That's cool.

I think if you want this game anytime soon, dust off that PC or indeed your 360.

When you are at a conference - especially for a specific company, they usually tell you only what you need to hear. Fifa anyone?

There's no real way to tell just how exclusive Bioshock is to the 360, but I don't bother getting bent out of shape everytime I hear the term. First of all, it's by a third party. If or when it comes, it comes. But since I wasn't really interested to begin with, my patience for such a wait is a bit more tolerate than most. :smile:

I got the trailer from Live marketplace and it looked sumptuous, then I saw some actual screenshots and I'm not so impressed. Having said that I'm still quite intrigued.
