Anyone had a chance to watch it? Forget matrix, this is where it's at. Too bad it was under promoted.

I thought it was a pretty good movie
To me, it's not nearly as good as the Matrix

It's intelligent and the action is cool though

Equilibrium > Matrix, but they definitely aren't pastiches.

I wasn't all that fond of the movie, but I wouldn't say it was horrible.

I liked it and now I want to take Gun-kata classes!

Though the guy who made this also made ultraviolet, which I heard sucked.

I love Equilibrium. I don't really see many similarities to the Matrix though, but whatever.

I think the main similarities are that both movies were smart and the action was unlike what most people had seen at the time.

And the future really sucks, or something.

i have Equilibrium on DVD but haven't yet seen it, i disliked the Matrix....Keanu Reeve's *shivers*

Well watch it man, you'll like it. It's slow the fist 20-30 mins.

The first half-hour is the best part.

I thought the idea of mathematical fighting was... ridiculous.

I just thought it was too short for that kind of movie. Everything else to me was great. The matematical fighting was not ridiculous if you were thinking of fighting in letting your body do the work, feeling your way through. Because of the drug you were not right brain thinking at all. Although there may be some exceptions. Everybody was a left brain thinker.
