Anyoen had the pleasure of hearing the album yet? I have, and it's a really good album. I really liked the first single "When You Were Young" and the rest of the album really lives up to it.

I'm not much of a fan of them. i have Hot Fuss and thought it was highly overrated, so I think I will pass on this one.
Edit: Although Rolling Stone say's its poor, so it may actually be worth checking out...they are the worst reviewers out there in my opinion.

I heard the first few songs and they were really good. My roommate just bought the CD so I gotta import it to my iTunes to get a better listen.

When the lead singer Brandon Flowers claimed that this was going to be the greatest album in the past 20 years, I knew I wouldn't be buying this album. That's a Kutagari-esque statement. I don't want to buy a musical version of him thankyouverymuch. "Somebody Told Me" from Hot Fuss was a much better first single than "When You Were Young" is anyway.

Plus, he dissed Thom Yorke and Franz Ferdinand. They are 10x better than the Killers will ever be.

he did WHAT!?, i now hate The Killers

i have Hot Fuss but only because it was one of those 3 CD's for £12 at Woolworths and the rest sucked, i have heard it around zero times

Thom Yorke is far superior to The Killers or any killer for that matter

i recently purchased Albert Hammond JR - Your's To Keep, buy this instead

I dunno, I'd take Killers over a lot of Radiohead...

But the best Radiohead owns The Killers.

Regardless, those who have heard it, would you say it's better or worse then Hot Fuss?

Yeah, his quote about the album being the best in the past 20 years made me laugh and made me dislike him and his band even more. I'll take the Faint for my retro synth-rock needs.

I bought the album today and I quite like it, not quite as good as Hot Fuss though, but oh well

I liked the singles of the last album, but got kinda burned out on Mr Brightside cause it was on the radio every other song. I will probably do what I did last time and download the singles I like.

I think Sam's Town is better than Hot Fuss and the best album I've heard in awhile.

I don't think that Sam's Town will top Hot Fuss, but it could be pretty decent.
