I was just checking up on my PS3 pre-order at Lik-sang, and then I saw that they had most of the game cases shown in the "PS3 Games" section!

Most look like fakes stolen from NeoGAF

You can even see the IGN logo from the one IGN made on Untold Legends

I don't know about all of them, but the ones with the IGN logos are real. IGN just pasted their symbol all over the place to show that they are the source.

How do we know if the game is online?
There is no clear sign. BOO!

It's not an issue now as we can literally post about every new PS3 game coming out but once Sony loads the truck full of games onto us and we don't have enough money etc...There will be lots of times where you'll go to a shop and say "Damn I need an online game...I wonder what online game has been released for the PS3 that I have to catch up on."

good question. I didn't notice that. the games have to show online compatability, number of players, etc. while the online feature was on the cover, maybe this time around it is handled more normally and included along the other features on the back of the case.
I also think there will be a new marker for indicating if 'motion sensing' is available or not.

That's a good question.

I'm not sure yet how it'll be handled, but I'm thinking every compatible game will be labeled for such functionality. The console not being shipped out yet may have a lot to do with the temporary exclusion at this moment.

presumably, Sony will design a brand new logo indicating online. their PS2 sybol is great. and I think it is quite differnet from the European one. that may mean the Japanese one is different too. I wonder how that one looks?

anyhoo, we'll see it soon enough. the 19th isn't far away now. ;)
