The Rangers are currently 4-4. Definitly not dominating. My Oilers on the other hand are doing a bit better then I expected.

Not much hockey fans on this forum.

Apparently not, and they lost tonight too. The Rangers team defense is HORRIBLE right now. They don't have a legit 1st pairing defensemen which doesn't help, closest is Tyutin, and he's still only a second year pro. But the turnovers in the neutral zone are killing them, and tonight alone, the Rachunek and Roszival turned over the puck in their own zone right across the middle of the ice, in one case almost across the crease. How do they expect Lundqvist to defend that?

And Sykora has been surprisingly good in Edmonton so far this year, and Roloson is back right? I actually haven't heard anything from him recently so I wasn't sure. The Oilers have a solid team, and are definately a playoff team, can't say the same about the Rangers right now, but it's only the first month of the season, plenty of time to turn it around.

Well its only the begining so the Rangers still have time to improve. Once Lundqvist gets used to that he will be amaizng. :)

Roloson is back which is nice. He has been playing good. The Oilers were smoked in their last 2 games though. I could't believe it. They better pick up the pace before they start to fall behind. Sykora has been playing very well for the Oilers which is a huge plus.

How about them damn Sabres. Thats insane. Setting records. I'm just happy they are not in the same division as the oilers.

Then theirs the Flyers... I would rather not comment. lol.

I'm glad the Sabres aren't in the Atlantic as well. But I am glad that they got to 10-0, the last time a team went 10-0 to start the season(93-94 Maple Leafs), the Rangers won the Stanley Cup, lol.

But yes to the Flyers in the Rangers division, just imagine how bad they'll be when Floppa gets injured.

My Oilers are 8-7-1 which is not terrible. Just as long as the Oilers make the playoffs and stay ahead of those damn Flames I'll be happy.
