I heard there is a new windows called Windows Longhorn...I don't kno if u guys already kno this...but i heard this from a friend, so i dun kno if it is true. and he said that there is a beta to download on the internet...here is wat he said about it.

"Here I write about my bad experience with Windows LongHorn:
I writing this message from Windows LongHorn because I don't have other ways. Why?
I downloaded by Emule Windows LongHorn (It is legall because it is not relased yet.It is beta version) and when I installed I by error make that it will install to the same partition where Windows XP is installed. But usually the second Windows installing to the directory windows.00 or something like that
But this not
This Windows renamed the directory of Windows XP to windows.000,program files to program files.000 and documents and setings to document and settings.000 and installed Windows LongHorn to the directory Windows
And here is problem
Now I can load only LongHorn and I can't rename the names of direcotries because they are in use
To fix this problem I need to enter to dos,run something like Norton Commander and rename the directory of Windows LongHorn to windows.00 and Windows XP to Windows and the same to all directories then load Windows XP and change in the system properties the path to Windows LongHorn
If you want to install Windows LongHorn then recommanded to not install it to the same partition where you have another Windows OS
And this is why I am online only in MSN messenger
I don't want to install many things to this Windows "

"I really not recommand to install beta version
I think that better to wait for final version
But look like that before LongHorn will be "Windows XP Reloaded""

Longhorn is the codename for the next windows operating system. It's supposed to be put together really well once it is for sale. A beta version of any software is not even worth considering since it can do harm to your system.

Are you Chinese?

Windows code named "LongHorn" wil be the successor to windows XP. It is estimated to launch 2006-2007.

I would not reccomend even installing the beta, due to instablitliy. If you want an major upgrade, wait untill windows Xp's service Pack 2.
