I really liked that commercial. It was a little boring then BLAM! reminds me of FEAR in a way :-p

That was a great commercial, doesn't look like it would be a TV commercial because of it's length, but it's still really well done.

Just to note: These are not commercials. These are promotional short films that appear on Sony's official PS3 site.
These short films help explain to potential buyers what PS3 is all about.
There is also one on Real-Time.

These are really excellent. Lovely cinematography.

So will they show these in European movie theaters as advertisements before Sony films, or are they just for the web? It seems kind of a waste if they are just for the internet.

I thought it was about Lik-sang's European shipments getting blocked. the second chapter would refer to the situation similar to the PSP shipments issues.

phew, that was a relief. I am dependant on Lik-Sang for my early PS3!:pepper:

8_bit, we obviously don't know what Sony PR has planned for these. My guess is they might be used in a programme that promotes the PS3. Before the PS2 launch I remember watching a programme that was all about how good the PS2 will be. They showed behind the scene footage of how GT gets made, it had interviews with devs about how great the PS2 will be etc.

So if Sony plans on doing the same this time around, it's a safe bet we'll see these shorts in that show.

That cinematographer(s) has some mad skillz. I'd like to meet whoever put that together for Sony, as I would love to get the chance to take a lesson or 2 from them. But, all I can do is draw some inspiration from it for now.

I wouldn't go that far.
For those of you who haven't seen it, the movie in question is 'V For Vendetta'. It's a good movie but not "the best fucking movie this century"....Far from it.

But this is really off topic.

On-topic: I can't wait for the next short film.
