Admittedly stolen from PS3forums: (http://www.ps3forums.com/showthread.php?t=34770)

DOGG's Annual Playstation Gaming Magazine Roundup.
Up to the Plate: PSM December 2006 Issue

Before I begin, I must say if you're going to buy a magazine for PLAYSTATION 3 info, this is the one to get! Tons of previews and news inside.

Advertisements - There are quite a few in this one. They are Sonic the Hedgehog, Ridge Racer 7, Need for Speed Carbon, Tony Hawk's Project 8, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, F.E.A.R., Rainbow Six: Vegas, College Hoops 2K7, NHL 2K7, and NBA 2K7.
In addition, I found something extremely odd. There was the Wii-Exclusive title Trauma Center: Second Opinion title that was being advertised. I was kinda confused.
Previews - There are many previews in this one. They are Devil May Cry 4, which they called visually stunning and a mix between the best parts of DMC and DMC 3, Fight Night Round 3, which they said You won't believe what so little time can do, Rainbow Six: Vegas, Elder Scrolls Oblivion, Battlefeild: Bad Company, which they said You can destroy 90% of the battlefeild. Literally, Ridge Racer 7, and Burnout 5.
Features - PLAYSTATION 3 Mega Playtest: This was a hands-on playtest with a final, yes final PLAYSTATION 3 model. They said [Sony] has worked hard to make such a hefty system look cool. What I found interesting was that even though it's large, it's much lighter then they expected. The PS3 actually feels lighter than the original PS2 units, and, more recently, the Xbox 360. [The] PS3 is the strong, silent type.
Along with the hands-on with the PS3, it had what you all want. The Games. I will list two standouts.

Resistence: Fall of Man - A day-one killer app. This is the game that will make other console users jealous. Amazing. The online in a nutshell is really, really good. We can see this game being a huge draw for PS3's online play. It's already beyond - both technology and gameplay-wise - anything on Xbox 360 a year after its launch. These are direct quotes, by the way. ;)
Motorstorm - ...It comes very close [On comparing to the CGI 2005 trailer]. Motorstorm is the sheer madness of crazy scrambles they call races. All of the veichles feel different, and, at this point, feel really good to drive. We're really excited about this one.-Note these are not all. There are tons more, including Ridge Racer 7, Lair, Full Auto 2, Genji 2, Sonic, Formula One, GTHD, DMC4, Coded Arms, Virtua Fighter, Heavenly Sword, Warhawk, Armored Core 4, Afrika, FFXIII, MGS4, Ninja Gaiden Sigma, White Knight Sotry, Virtua Tennis 3, Hot Shots Golf 5, Monster Kingdom, and the Eye of Judgement.

Extensive details, curtesy of LOUDNINJA.

Burnout 5

+ The cars in the game is compsoe of 80 pieces, and not the 12 in the other Burnout games

+The game take place in a open world

+You can tear cars in half

+the game will have online and mutiplayer

+The game will support the tilt!

This is a good issue, lots of good info!
More to add once LoudNinja supplies it to me.
As you can see, this is one hell of a magazine.
This has to be the most effort I've put into these. I really worked hard on it. I hope ya'll enjoy it. ;)It's taking you too long to get us some scans, yoshaw :cry2: :drunk:

YEah-I haven't gotten PSM in a while-I had to make sure I got my November issue just to make sure what the heck was going on. It's good to get the magz before they hit retail-but sometimes there's like a really long 1.5 to almost 2 months till u get your next issue. It's the last issue before the Holiday Buyers guide-so it usually is a very good read...

This is not directed at the OP, but this isn't that "incredible" of an issue. I mean there's nothing new in there, we've seen Resistance (just give it to us already) we already knew the Burnout 5 details from their previous issue, we've seen previews of all of those games. I dunno I mean with only 3 weeks until we actually get our hands on the system, this is more directed towards people who don't follow things closely like we do.

LOL...that's like every issue Siraris! Rarely do I get a PSM magazine and read something completely new in there. Where magazines come in (for me anyway) is the detail they go into. Really talking about every feature of a game they know about, and analyzing pics and stuff. It's just reiterating-but I like reading PSM reiterate stuff every month.

i'd subscribed to psm since issue 1 but recently let it expire. i get the official ps mag and egm for free, and psm generally just blows. they printed my letter in the last issue (i'm Bash) and completely butchered it too. they took out all my relevant points and completely reworded the whole thing. it was only a couple sentences longer than what they printed so there was no point in taking out the important sentences to shorten it. but anywho, they're really amateurish and say things even i know are completely wrong.
