Anyways, vintage powerful marketing by Sony, it always SOUNDS cool, and it usually is, I think we know nothing in the world can be as good as they make it sound lol! They make it sound like it fell out of the heavens ahha, awesome stuff.

More features will be coming soon-I bet they'll use Lair and Flow for the controller feature. I think Lair looks amazing-but I'm still more excited about Warhawk! The flight looks incredible-and the ground battles looked straigh outta battalion Wars-nothing amazing, but good fun nonetheless...I want this games now-but if it will just get better from here on out-take as much time as you need Incog...

I dont know guys but it kinda worries me tho.. I mean I remember watching alot of videos and demos (that were talking about the how many millions of transistors it had, how powerful it would be and so on..) like this from nVidia when they were to release their FX series.. I dont know, I mean, I know that PS3 has potencial but I dont want it to be hype just like nvidia did.. Is this the same deal or u think that Sony is not rushing anything?

Do the ads remind anyone else of those Science videos like say when you go to a science centre or an Imax theatre and they have those videos on bugs or microbes or space? I think that's the feeling these ads are trying to achieve, so like the analysis of space brings new meaning and they show all those mind bending pictures of space. Instead, here it's the PS3 hyperbole, but it uses that same type of voice and imagery to convey the idea that the PS3 is something as thought provoking as the idea of moving at lightspeed or entering a black hole and exiting thru a 'white hole.'

It's certainly the kind of combination of powerful sounding words with powerful looking imagery, it is actually boggling my mind how well they made those ads. Maybe those advertisements are the REAL reason the PS3 as a console will lose money to start off like all consoles, not the hardware costs! lol j/k

Cell Broadband Engine (Cell BE) is the official name of it. Now since there's going to be other revisions/variations in the future, i guess u can call it the family name also. ppl just disregard the 'BE' whenever they say it.

WOW thats some amazing form of advertisment, it made me feel like I was watching a theater ad. I swear if they put those in theaters people will be talking about PS3 for weeks.

Man I never knew these were interactive now I'm gonna show everyone this site and tell them about this intensity. Thanks for the heads up, I just have to take this in alittle more.

I just witnessed the strangest PS3 ad ever, I dont know about anyone else but it starts off with a plastic doll calling out to its mom which so happens to be the ps3. The doll starts crying then the tears are absorb back into its eyes.

The room is the same as the Playbeyond site, in fact the PS3 rises and the Playb3yond logo is underneath it. Its strange, infact its completely wrong. Worst ps3 ad yet.

I wasnt mean that tho.. It seems to me that this videos are an act of desperation, I mean everybody already saw the games from TGS, why are they trying to get more attention from us, this videos really remind me the ones from Nvidia's FX series for some reason..

The likes of which don't go to gamespot, ign or internet forums and follow news on day to day basis like you or the rest of this forums members. These ads are for people who have no idea what PS3 is at this point.

Ive also heard it called STI Cell. The STI meaning Sony, Toshiba, IBM. I think they just have a bunch of names for the cell. Their just trying to confuse a bunch of ppl. JK. Cell BE/Cell Broadband Engine/STI Cell their all the same thing.

Cell Broadband Engine (BE) is a registered trademark of Sony Computer Entertainment International. That's the difference. There are/will be different variations of Cell processor so STI Cell is the base technology which evolves into different variants.
