That Death Jr. game looked pretty damn good for a handheld, pretty damn good. They've got a lot of big developers, like EA, Konami, Capcom, Namco, etc. onboard to make sure they try to get their games out to as many people as they can when this thing launches.

PSP - all the same crap we've been playing for years .....only much more expensive.
DS - Never before seen gameplay, innovative games and experiences not capable on any other system in the world.......and far less expensive.
The PSP is the jump form 8 bit to 16 bit. Same thing only prettier.
The DS is teh jump from 2D to 3D, a completely new experience.
So go ahead and buy your $450.00 PSP and enjoy rehash v.16.85 because I'll be enjoying the feeling of playing video games for the first time...again.

Same crap we've been playing for years? Last I checked it 2004 and Nintendo is still porting games from the late 80's / early 90's onto the GBA SP.
I like how you talk about the DS as though it will revolutionize the gaming world....... when all we know about it is that it will have two screens. I like how you keep thinking the PSP will be over $200 - which it will not. The rehash comment at the end is just very ironic coming from a Nintendo fan.

This is between the PSP and the DS. You can say all you want about the GBA because I personally would rather play those on the original systems anyway.
As for the second half of your comment....You must have been living in a cave recently.
Chris Deering of Sony himself said $456.00
(48,000 Yen = 452.406 USD as of tonight)
DS:
Dueal Screen
Touch Sensitive
Wireless LAN
A gryo controller system (I've seen the patent and my NOA PR says he's heard of it but couldn't comment what system or what it was for)
Innovative gameplay not available anywhere that will, I repeat, will open new game genres and reinvent old ones.

I didn't even know that wireless LAN existed until a few weeks ago. Heh heh heh.
And if that ends up being the actual price of the PSP, Sony is in deep, deep shit.

If it were that much developers wouldn't think it could sell and thereforth they wouldn't be developing for it. Instead it would have the DS's puny list of Sega who developes for anyone (N-Gage/Neo Geo Pocket) Camelot owned by nintendo and a bunch of no named developers.

If prices were exactly the same in territory to territory, the Xbox would be $158.333 right now.

A difference of $20.00 not $200.00

Yeah, but a 200+$ difference? No.

Well said!!! You mean Sony made another handheld that was 8bit? Or are you talking about the PSX, or PS2

Im a PS2 fanboy....actually, Im just an all around videogame fanboy. And honestly, my favorite platform of gaming is handheld. So, this gets me excited nonetheless. As does the DS. If I can, Ill get both. Maybe buy one and get the other for Xmas. Either way, I cant wait.
Funny thing. Nintendo claimed tons of times that the DS will not compete with the PSP when they release, yet, people have been comparing them and implying that they WILL be competing ever since they were both announced. Just check that first post.
