View Full Version : Dreamcast connectivity?
Didn't dreamcast have some kind of connectivity with neo geo pocket? Did it ever see the light of day? Did any of you ever use this feature?

I don't think it did. But that vmu thing was pretty neat though.

VMU's were probably the only connectivity the dreamcast had... I don't really know for sure though.

VMU's, are those the things that would go into the controller?

yah. NFL 2kx is virtually unplayable w/o the VMUs.. multiplayer, I mean, its fine against comp...

That smells. But didn't you only need that battery to play the games that you downloaded of the games.

good point .
The VMU does work without batteries (my VMU batteries died a long time ago). It'll still save all my games perfectly. The VMU display screen will work when it's connected to the controller (power is supplied from the dreamcast controller), although it'll stop working once it's been dissconnected. :P
anyways, check this out: Dreamcast to Neo Geo Pocket Link Cable (SNK)

Hmm. I don't know about that. Do you have any games that it was combatible with.
EDIT: Now I remember. Capcom vs. SNK has a link up option with the neo-geo pocket.

Hmmm I never lost my memory when it died. And I loved the shooting game from powerstone you could take with yah.

Yea, like Dork showed it had a connector with the Neo Geo Pocket Color. Mainly for SNK vs. Capcom...that game kicks so much ass on NGPC and on DC for that matter.

You should import Capcom vs. SNK 2 on dc. It's the best on the dreamcast. Better than on any other next gen system anyways.
