Verdict... Is it just me or are they exactly the bloody same? :)

Put your hand over the PS3/360 logo, shut your eyes and open them then try to guess which one you're watching. :)

It's amazing people debate this stuff for hours. "Oh man, the 360/PS3 version's graphics are so crippled man..." :)

Watch the video, last line in the song is "And now I can't tell the difference." :)

I think part of the root issue is rumble vs SIXAXIS. Frankly I say let's just wait for more reviews. It's not a game for me, so I'm largely ambivalent either way. :smoke:

I forgot who reviewed it and gave the PS3 version is lower score, but they said the game got down to 15fps at some points, which I think is bullshit. They said the PS3 version was slightly sharper. But that the frame rate was horrible, and the lack of online gave the Xbox360 version to upper hand.

I couldn't care less about this game. I will never buy a skating title.

That would be IGN.

No worries, though. It isn't a game I was planning on picking up. :)

Also isn't the 360 version the only one with online? Or am I thinking of a different game?

yes, i think this is probably what made them prefer the 360's version.

The only difference is the 360's is online.

Difference is...

360 has
online multiplay(Who the hell plays TH online anyway? Hey man, wanna join my Tony Hawk clan, we stake hard!)
leader boards(groovy)
achievements(also groovy)
rumble(Hmmm....)
Allegedly softer graphics, but more stable frame rate

PS3 version has
Sixaxis
Allegedly sharper graphics but less stable frame rate

user friendly has just owned this game again. THPS sucked hard after the first 4, which were all absolutely awesome. Head over to his PS3 scans thread of OPMs Dec issue.

i've only just looked at those vids and they look identical to me... apart from the PS3 version looking a little brighter... look at the spiky haired guys jacket...

No online and poor frame rates for a game that doesn't even look that good? Rushed product.

This game will be a lot better in the next version when the devs have more time to work with the PS3 version. The PS3 version might not look any better (Because it's a port), but there will be no framerate issues or lack online modes.

I would have prefered they launched this game in March if it had issues like this. Shame on them for rushing it out. But haven't been a TH fan since TH3 or so. Just the same stuff over and over again.
